I'm replacing the speakers in my Jeep liberty with the 6 disk in dash changer w/ infinity speakers. What are the which colors are which speakers?

If you have not cut them yet, DONT. Go to cartoys or ebay and look for adapters. If you have cut them then go to autozone dot com and make a free account and then logon and put in the year and make and model and then look at the free repair guides to see if the schematic wiring diagrams have the information on the stereo.

You need to go to your local "best buy" or electronics store and ask them for your car's "stereo wire harness". This will convert the wires from your car to match all the colors from your deck. (green, purple, white, gray, blue, yellow, red, ect. Same on all after market decks. All brands use the same wires) Take that new harness and your deck harness, twist the matching wire colors together, tape them with electrical tape, plug the harness back into the car and deck, and it should be good. Click, click, done. Remember to plug the antenna in as well before you get the deck in.

I dont hAVE THE wire hardness for my deck and wondering if am able to get just that part

http://www.shopping.com/Clarion-VRX485VD-wire-harness/products?CLT=SCH

The ones i see listed are not an exact model number match, however, in my experience have found that most harnesses will fit models from the same make... for example, when you swap a Sony deck you can replace it with another Sony deck with a different model number just by unplugging the harness from the deck itself and plugging it into the new deck.

How do you get access to the rear turn signal lights in a 95 dodge intrepid

From autozone.com. Please let me know if you have any questions.

  1. Release the trunk latch and open the trunk lid.
  2. Remove the fasteners holding the trunk lining to the lower rear deck panel.
  3. Separate the trunk lining from the deck panel.
  4. Detach the lamp wiring from the wiring harness.
  5. Remove the nuts that retain the tail lamp to the lower deck and quarter panel.
  6. Remove the tail lamp from the vehicle.
  7. Remove the socket and pull the bulb out if replacement is needed.

To install:
  1. Push a new bulb into place if required, then insert the socket into the lamp.
  2. Insert the wire harness through the hole in the lower deck panel.
  3. Install the wiring harness grommet into the lower deck panel.
  4. Place the tail lamp into position on the vehicle.
  5. Install the nuts to hold the lamp to the lower deck and quarter panel.
  6. Attach the wire from the lamp to the body harness.
  7. Place the trunk lining into position on the lower deck panel.
  8. Install the fasteners that hold the trunk lining to the lower rear deck panel.
  9. Check the operation of the lamp.

I need to know how to install a cd player in my 1997 jeep wrangler sport.

My suggestion would be to buy a wiring harness and a dash mounting kit. After that unscrew or pull out the console/dash part thats around your factory deck. Then unscrew the bolts/screws holding the factory one in place. Remove it. Plug the wiring harness into the factory wire plug. Pull harness wires through the mounting kit. Attach the corresponding colored wires from the harness to your new deck. Slide your deck into the mounting kit and secure it in place. Most decks have little prongs that you can pry up to **** up against the mounting kit so it wont slide out without pushing those down (makes it more secure and harder to steal). Place deck with mounting kit into area factory deck was. Put the screws/bolts back into place tightly. Place console/dash part back on. You will need the mounting kit (99% of new decks are smaller than the factory). Wiring harness is optional but recommended.

I cannot match up the wires from my clarion DB265MP head to the wires from my 99 honda accord lx. when i ground the head and touch the main power line to the battery terminal, it works though. what gives?

you need to buy the wiring harness that is for your car then you can just hook the harness to your deck and plug it in to the car, unless your wires in your dash are all cut up,in that case you need a tester light.ground the light on somthing and look for the wire that lights up when the car is turned off, this is your battery back-up it goes to yellow on the deck, next look for a wire that has power with your ihgnition and loses power when ignition is off, this one goes to the red on the deck, look for a ground they are usually black but test it for power cause that would blow your fuse,or make your own by drilling a hole somewhere in the chassis and attach to black wire on deck,as for speakers you will prob need to remove front speakers, look at the colors and these are the same as colors youll see where deck is,then check back speaker wire colorwhich also runs to your dash

to install this unit in your car........as a beginner i would strongly recommend buying a aftermarket radio harness (this harness will attach to the wire plug in your factory deck simply unhook the factory player and attach this harness to the plug you just pulled out of the factory unit) once this harness is installed on the factory plug it will be a simple colour match (just attach wires to pioneer wires IE. red - red, white - white........once all the wires are attached install in dash recommend buying a mounting unit for this net part it will hold the deck in place in your dash...........after that is done install your pioneer unit push it in place apply power by turning car on..........pioneer deck should turn on and work if it does not turn right on look for a source button on the pioneer unit and hold it down till the unit turns on
good luck
hope i was able to help

my first suspect would be the harness adapter, if your sound was working ok before fitting the the new decks:take the part number of the adapter and check it again even if you have to check it on line with the manafactures to see it is compatable with your new decks/and your car chassis number.adrian
