Question about Kohler K-T10335-4-CP Lyntier Rite-temp bath and shower faucet with lever ....
Hi, I have a problem with one of my Kohler shower valve. Very little cold water is in the mix. I believe it is one of the rite-temp type...it has only one handle. Looks like it's plumbed with no valves in the line. Hot and cold water are directly plumbed. Is there a adjustment on the valve? Cold water is fine on all the other fixtures in the house (two other showers with same valve). Do I need to call a plumber?
If this is a new installation and has always beenj this way, then I would suspect that there may be an obstruction in the cold water line leading to the valve. Or something stuck in the valve at the point where the cold water is connected. If someone has worked on thius valve recently , then I would suspect that they got the valve cartridge in backwards, If the catridge is not placed in the valve correctly the opperation is messed up.
