The pump on my sprayer pulsates. It will go from

The pump on my 25 gal spot sprayer pulsates. It will go from 8 psi to 20 psi. I have checked hoses for blockage and found nothing. I have cleaned the screening system between the main hose and the pump. I have let it sit hooked up to the running ATV thinking that the psi needed to build up but it still pulsates. What do I need to do to even out the psi?

Soiunds like you either have one of two things. Either the pump motor is bad or you have a wire that is shorted out. look for chaffed or bare wires or burnt spots on the sprayer and the machine towing it. one of the two is your issue. Hope this helps!

Moultrie 25 gal spot sprayer for water sealer treatment

Yes, I've used pumpup hand sprayers to apply sealers. Is the sealer water-based? If not, cleaning up the sprayer afterwards could be a chore!

Insufficient Pressure From Pump

Take the strainer at the end of the hose on the tank off. Throughly clean it. I used an old tooth brush, then ran hot water through it several times. Also drained the tank and flushed it out 3-4 times with fresh water, then ran fresh water through the pump for several minutes

Hope this helps
