Hello

To narrow down the problem, wipe the device clean.

With the phone turned on, pull out the battery wait a minute, and put it back in, it will take a moment to turn on, if the sounds are still gone wipe it.

You may want to backup your data first before performing these steps. These instructions will remove all data from the device.
1. From the Home screen press Menu.
2. Select Options.
3. Select Security Options.
4. Select General Settings.
5. Press Menu.
6. Select Wipe Handheld.
7. To delete all third-party applications from your device, select the Include third-party applications check box.
8. Select Continue.
9. Type blackberry.

After you have wiped the device, if the sounds are still gone, do the battery pull once again. If the issue still persists, then the problem is possibly the head phone plug, it may have broken off from the board, if the connector does not touch, the sound does not get directed to the phones speaker. I've had this exact issue on another device that I used to use headphones with quite a lot, broke the connector.

If you need further instructions or if you want to give a shot at the connector, let me know and I'll dig up some instructions and what I did myself to the other phone.

Both speakers on my lg chocolate has stopped working. i can go to my sounds and select play but no sound comes out. during a call i can hear nothing even when i switch it to speaker mode. but when it rings...

I assume you have tried turning the volume up during a call? if so and the volume is all the way up and nothing is coming out, try plugging headphones in to check that there is sound that way. If there is, remove the headphones and that may fix the problem itself as phones can get confused "thinking" there are headphones in when there aren't.

My phone is not ringing when I get incoming calls, beeping when I get txts, and it won't go on loud speaker. The volume is high. Its set to normal profile, with ringing volume high. Please advise.

Some how your phone was reset or had the tone turned off. Just follow the below guide and your audio should come back on. I would do a soft reset (turn off the handset, remove the battery then reinsert) before performing the instructions.

Tone settings
To select a ringing tone for voice calls, select Tones >
Ringing tone.
To select a ringing tone for video calls, select Tones > Video
call tone.
To set the ringing type, select Tones > Ringing type. You
can also set the device to sound a ringing tone that is a
combination of the spoken name of the caller and the
selected ringing tone, when someone from your contacts list
calls you. Select Tones > Say caller's name.
To set the volume level of the ringing tone, select Tones >
Ringing volume.
To set the various alert tones, select Tones > Message alert
tone, E-mail alert tone, Calendar alarm tone, or Clock
alarm tone.
To set the device to vibrate when you receive a call, select
Tones > Vibrating alert.
To set the volume level of the device keypad tones, select
Tones > Keypad tones.

I have included a link to download your user manual if needed, it comes as a PDF file so you need to have adobe PDF down loader

How do I adjust the volume, too LOUD?

Hello jinniq51,

i have some tips on how to do it hope it helps :D

Settings
In this menu, you can adjust various phone
settings. To reset some menu settings to their
default values, select Restore factory set.
Tone settings
Select Menu > Settings > Tone settings and from the available
options:
Ringing tone-To set the tone for incoming calls
Ringing volume-To set the volume level for the ringing and
message alert tones. If you set Ringing volume to be level 2 or
above, your phone rings with the ringing volume ascending
from level 1 to the level you have set when there is an
incoming call.
Vibrating alert-To set the phone to vibrate when you receive a
call or a text message
Message alert tone-To set the tone to sound when you receive
a text message
Warning tones-To set the phone to sound tones, for example,
when the battery is running out of power

My ring tones have stopped working on my Blackbery

There may be a setting that got adjusted somehow. Go into your Options (the wrench icon) and select "Sounds and Ringtones." Under "Ring Tone," there is a volume setting -- make sure it is not set to "Silent." Underneath that, there is a setting called "Play sound" -- make sure that's set to "Always"or "Out of holster."

Do other sounds work on your BlackBerry (such as music files, video clips, or alerts)?

No speaker or ring Nokia 7370 7373

This problem is not cause by the software. The buzzer of the phone must be replaced with a new one. Go to the nearest Nokia Service Center or any cellphone repair shops you have that one on your area, or from where you bought the phone. This buzzer is the audio output for music, tones, etc. except for the calls, its a different speaer.
