Question about Maytag PAV2300 Top Load Washer
Water is dripping from the input lip. It drips from both sides of it. It is necessary to shut off the water when the machine isn't in use.
Your solonoid is in need of a service. Tilt the washer sideways after you unplug it and remove the water pipes. Once disconnected, undo a nut or two holding the plate in position.and remove water valve from machine. Possibly you can remove both water pipes from the valve assembly without going in from underneath. Once loose, use appropriate screwdriver or socket spanner and carefully strip the valve. Clean dirty area untill all particles are removed. reassemble and retry..
