6. Open iTunes.
Important: Do not add any content into iTunes at this point.

7. Choose File > Library > Import Playlist.

Had power cut cant open i tunes


Re-install the iTunes.
Go to Start/Control Panel/Uninstall a program/Select iTunes/Click on Uninstall
Restart your computer
Go to Apple.com and click on iTunes
Download and install them.

I would also recommend you to buy a special device which helps to prevent your computer from turning off when there are power schortages.

I cant get itunes to download onto my laptop


It all depends on your computer type and it's version. For instance, if you have a PC with Windows Vista of Windows 7, then the latest version of the iTunes (iTunes 10.4 for Window's (64 bit)) download should work. However, the "64-bit" part is also important. To check what your PC is, go to the start menu, then right click on Computer, select Properties, and it should tell you under System. sometimes there are certain softwares that are already in the system and they have disable any file that might help applications like the itunes to work properly..... so i think you should reinstall the operating system if possible use windows 7
