Find (2) tennis balls and cut them in half. Place them in the positions where the feet would be, with the cups resting against the bottom of the unit. This works well with all types of audio equipment.

How to hookup sansui SE-8 eqalizer to sansui AU719integrated amplifer.do i use the tape side or there are 2 phono inputs? I would like to know if it will control tuner aux. which is my cd player as well

PHONO is ONLY for TURNTABLES. That's why they don't call it AUX.

Wired as I described in the other request, the EQ will have effect of anything that amplifier uses for input once you engage the tape loop the EQ is installed on.

Looking for a stylus for old sansui turntable model FR-D25??? Any suggestions

It is next to impossible to find a replacement stylus, I suggest replacing the cartridge which will include the stylus giving you the flexibility to make a choice on what you prefer.

Whitch port's in back do i use to connect phono. I have a Dual 506 , and White & Black lines, is Black the hot, or white. The Marantz is a sr-685.

You don't, at least not directly.

"PHONO" is the only designated connection on a receiver that is literal and exclusive. Nothing but PHONO will work right on it and old-school turntables would require it to preamplify the tiny current produced by a Phono cartridge.

I need to connect to a Marantz SR-19 a record player How do i do it

On the back of the receiver there are connections, usually record player should be hooked up on Phono slot. If Phono is not available, trying using Aux or another slot that isn't being used. After hooking it up, remember the place you hooked it up, turn on the turntable, play a record, then hit the button on the receiver where the turntable is hooked up.

Sansui 2000x Phone 1 and 2 inputs produce garbled sounds.

I imagine everything is also VERY LOUD.

Only a Phono (old school turntable) should be plugged into the Phono inputs. It contains a preamp for the tiny signal provided by a Phono cartridge, plus is alters the frequency response drastically to compensate for the RIAA curve applied when they cut the record from tape.

Can I hook up a photo turntable to a sony str-de435 receiver? There aren't any jacks that specifically say phono, so I'm wondering if I can just hook it up to any of the audio jacks without any problem....

If your turntable has an amplified output, go ahead and plug it in to the aux port. If not, you won't be able to use it with your receiver properly. Look on the back (or front) of your turntable for a knob labeled "level" or "volume", and that will determine if it's amplified or not. Good luck, I hope this helps!

Have a Sansui compu edit p-m70 turtable. I turn

Lift off the turntable mat and the platter. Near the tone-arm, remove two screws holding down a panel and then inspect the tonearm belt. They wear out and stretch out and this could be the problem. Replacement is easy and does not require any special tools or further dissasembly.

Lock light indicates that turntable platter speed has reached correct speed.
