Just gently keep trying, you most likely put it in a little crooked.

Just got a blu dash jr. which way does the sim card go in ?

Generally, the contacts on the sim card should meet the contacts on the device, and should be visibly obvious. I don't have such a device, but in my experience, the makers name is upwards, and with the sim card being slid in with your right hand, the 'notch' is top left hand corner.

Where is the sims card?

sim cards are normally located under the battery in the back of the phone . remove the batter and there will be a small card that lifts out.

It keeps turning on and off by itself

try using a rubber eraser on the contacts of the battery, phone and sim card. the contacts on the phone protude upwards so do not rub them sideways as they will bend!. rub quiet hard on all the contacts.. the sim card can come loose if you have maybe dropped it , so ensure the slide or clip is holding it firmly in place. if it is a plastic clip that you lift up to remove the sim, slide it up first and after cleaning make sure it is slid back down to hold it in place. if the clip comes off it is no problem to click it back on to the small lugs then replace the sim card don,t, force it you will see the sim has a piece cut out of one corner and it can only go in one way! .look at it before removing it to clean. if it a sim that comes out the side push it in to loosen it will pop out a little then remove etc.. hope this helps, regards terry

Open the back cover, remove the battery. You see a slid-in slot for the sim card. Follow the shape image and insert the sim.

Nokia 5130 rejected my sim?

hi,

there are many reason for that,

1) loose sim card. try removing your sim card and place it again securely to the slot.
2) defective sim card. try replacing another sim and see if it works.
3) bad terminal contact. if you can manage to see your sim card terminal in the phone, try checking it if their is no abnormalities in it.
4) the worst is that it has a defective sim card IC. (rare case)

Hope i helped you.
Don't forget to rate me OK!

regards,

John

Police siren type icon on phone. What is it? It sems to knock out the contacts in my phonebook and i cannot send messages while this is on

Hi the blue icon in top left hand corner is telling you their is a problem with the sim card, take the back of the phone and slide the sim card in a bit further, once you have slid it in a little bit more you should have no more problems, the sim card can move slightly so pushing it in further can and should solve the problem.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Motorola l6 phone, on orange, keeps displaying the ''insert sim' error.

i was having the same problem, when u place the sims card in the slot, make sure the little metal clip is slid up over the sims card to insure connection. I didnt realize at the time i was suppose to slid the that clip over the edge of the card. As soon as i did this it worked fine.
