Most units can be accessed by seperating the unit from the bottom. remove the feet..screws etc...secure tone arm when turning unit over... remove dust cover glass..etc...be careful. belt should be accessable and you may have to remove a guide of two. Take pictures with a digital camera as you go..just in case you forget where something goes when u reassemnble. Trace Electronics Repair. Canada

I have a very old Wizard (Western Auto) Front Tine Rototiller Model gis 6990 A27 with power reverse. I am looking for a manual or a diagram of the drive belt routing. (Patent #2903077). Any assistance...

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly

Here is a picture of the belts installed.
http://photos.cubfest.com/albums/userpics/10231/Belt_Routing.jpg
NOTE the front fwd direction drive belt / closest to the motor is installed like any other belt. The rear belt for REVERSE direction has 1/2 twist. The idler pulley presses in for foward driving and pulls out against the reverse drive belt.

This should be what you need.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Belt slipped on my hoover self propelled windtunnel

Please give additional information?
Sometimes belts can be mounted in 2 directions. If installed in the wrong direction, the roller will rotate backwards and the belt can come off. Also, it is possible that the belt has stretched. Verify that the roller spins freely with the belt off. If it doesn't, remove it and clean it and verify that the bearing are good.

Cassette Tape Deck Problem

Unit may have worn belts that are slipping. All cassette player belts are subject to deterioration even if recently installed. You may try ordering the belts yourself and have a service tech install them. The tech that installed belts 9 months ago may have used used belts. Although dishonest, it is common.
