Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Have a wall mounted Jenn-air oven. Have used self-cleaning feature before. Followed step by step instructions to the end including locking the door and pushing "Enter". Went to bead expecting to wake

This is a general answer and not specific. The oven thinks is still in the cleaning mode. If it has one, push the clean button again. Set the oven to a regular bake cycle.

Replacing Jenn-air down draft with new unit

Since Jenn-Air has been acquired by Whirlpool, there have been an explosion of problems with their appliances.
Please research your intended purchase before deciding on a replacement:
Jenn-Air info
Considering the array of early failures everyone seems to be having with appliances (US made and foreign) bought in the last few years, I couldn't even recommend a manufacturer any more.

Jenn-Air stove locked

After the lock indicator light goes out, move the door lock lever to the left. The oven door can now be opened. Turn the selector and temperature knobs from clean to off AFTER THE DOOR IS UNLOCKED. If the temperature knob is turned to off BEFORE the door is unlocked, the door will not open. Forcing the lock will damage the lock mechanism. If this should happen, return the temperature knob back to CLEAN, unlock the door, THEN turn the temperature knob off. Jenn air s136 stove won,t self clean

You've probably already read pages 34 through 37 of the owners manual for this oven. We had this stove in the house we bought and the owner wrote in his own directions, which seem to work fine:

1. Turn knob selector to clean.
2. Turn temp knob to clean.
3. Close and lock door.
4. Push enter button and turn dial clockwise to desired time.
5. Push enter button again.

You've probably already tried this, but just in case I figured I'd pass it along.
