Question about Acer Aspire 4720 Notebook
Even when i right clicked the screen clear from desktop icons, i ended up not seeing the term you said i sould see, PERSONALIZE? its not there only desktop gadgets
OK sounds like you have vista.
easiest thing to do here is to click your start button, hit control pannel, if you have it in catagory view then switch it to classic (should be on the side bar of the window) then scroll down after it reloads and select personalize, then click on manage background or whatever it's called, and that should be it you just change it to what you want and you'll be done.

Tips for a great answer:
There are two ways you can do this.
1). Go into file manger or File explore.
2). Click on my PC or This PC.
3). locate the CD rom Icon for the drive you wish to get into.
4). right click on The CD rom drive Icon.
5). Click "EJECT".
1). Get a paper clip. bend it in to a letter L shape.
2). on the CD drive face plate there should be a small hole. NOTE: Not the LED / LIGHT.
3). Insert the paper clip into the hole. While keeping the clip straight give it a small push and the tray should open.
