My radio powers off every few minutes. Needs to be turned back on by the on-off switch. How can I stop it from turning off automaticly?

When you press the Power/Sleep button the radio turns on and displays a number 90, or some other numbers. This is the play time that the radio will stay on then turns itself off. It could be that yours is configured with a sleep timer set to 01 minute, 10 or 15. You need to set the timer for a longer period. Thus we turn it on by pressing the Power/Sleep button, read the timer length then press again. Keep making short presses: The timer will cycle through all preset sleep timer durations. Select the length you want.

The times seem to have changed on the settings for soil levels. For instance, the quick is 50 minutes and the normal is 84 minutes. That does not seem right. Is there any way to set them different?

Answer to your question "Is there any way to set them different?" Short answer is no. The Maytag Neptune like many other washers that display a time of cycle first start with an estimated time this relays a lot on the last cycle ran. But, more importantly it also takes into consideration other washing options. For example, lets say that your quick wash cycle used to only display 35 min. now if you select an extra rinse option the time will increase from that 35 min. to a higher amount of time. This is due to the longer time it takes to go through a second rinse cycle. The MAH5500 if I'm not mistaken also has a heater in it so there are options such as sanitize which takes 120 degree hot incoming water (suggested temp. for hot water heaters) and heats it to approx. 165 degrees. And as you can imagine this takes a washer some time to do this (increasing wash time). If you would like to lower washing time check the washing options and remove any that are not needed at that time; pay close attention to extra rinse cycles and the soil levels that are selected. Hope this helps. Cheers.

There could be moisture in the main board and this can cause this fuzzy condition. Usea good heater to dry the board , check for crusting on connectors, reconnect and test.

How to set oven timer on a GE electric stove

that is not a problem. I copied the instructions straight from the manual which you can also review by clicking here.
Using the clock and timer.
To Set the Clock The clock must be set to the correct time of day for the automatic oven timing functions to work properly. The time of day cannot be changed during a timed baking or self-cleaning cycle. Press the CLOCK pad. Press the HOUR and MIN + or – pads to set the time of day. Press the START pad. Make sure the clock is set to the correct time of day. To Set the Timer Press the KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad. Press the HOUR and MIN + or – pads until the amount of time you want shows in the display. The maximum time you can enter in minutes is 59. Cooking times more than 59 minutes should be changed to hours and minutes. For example, enter 90 minutes as 1 hour, 30 minutes. If you make a mistake, press KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF and begin again. Press the START pad. After pressing the START pad, SET disappears; this tells you the time is counting down, although the display does not change until one minute has passed. Seconds will not be shown in the display until the last minute is counting down. When the timer reaches :00, the control will beep 3 times followed by one beep every 6 seconds until the KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad is pressed. The 6-second tone can be canceled by following the steps in the Special features of your oven control section under Tones at the End of a Timed Cycle. The timer is a minute timer only. The timer does not control oven operations. The maximum setting on the timer is 9 hours and 59 minutes. To Reset the Timer If the display is still showing the time remaining, you may change it by pressing the KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad, then press the HOUR and MIN + or – pads until the time you want appears in the display. If the remaining time is not in the display (clock, delay start or cooking time are in the display), recall the remaining time by pressing the KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad and then pressing the HOUR and MIN + or – pads to enter the new time you want. To Cancel the Timer Press KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad twice.

If you need further assistance follow up with a comment and please let me know and i will be glad to assist you further. Thanks, Midwest-tek

I'm putting a new defrost timer in my jenn air refridgerator Model # JTB2688AEW, about 10 years old, the new timer has a setting for a 10 to 35 min cycle, the old timer just has the 10 hour info, but not...

Good day,
10/35 is fine. They don't always give the defrost period time. The original may have been a 10/30 or the same as the one you have. In either case the longer the better, since it allows more time for the water to drain out and prevent icing in the drain.

Timer Jumps

Hi. The time displayed at the start of the program is an estimated time to complete the cycle. The appliance will calculate the wash time base on load size, water pressure, water temp ect. If a smaller load is to be washed then less water will be required thus shortening the time required to fill and heat water as a result this will reduce the wash time. EG. The more water you put in your kettle the longer it takes to boil.

In the back of the freezer there is a ''condenser'' unit that leaks & ice forms along the back of the freezer and bottom. I have opened a drain hole & attached a hose but the water freezes before...

Good day,
First, if ice maker equipped, the fill tube going into the ice maker may be leaking. Shut the water off to the machine, and disconnect the line for now. It can be addressed later.
Although a pain, I would recommend the machine be un plugged for 24 hours and melt and dry out the freezer compartment. If you have a floor fan to blow into the freezer compartment, even better.
Second, There is a limit thermostat clipped to the top of the evaporator. It's a round 1" device.
If I have a problem machine with this problem, I bump the temperature of that tstat 5 degrees.
For example, if it's a 50 degree tstat, I replace it with a 55 degree.
If 55 degree I replace it with a 60 degree. If 60 already, I replace it with a new limit of the same value, since there is nothing above 60 degrees that makes sense. This is to guarantee the old one isn't opening prematurely and not producing enough heat.
As an option, and you might want to wait on this, there are timers that have a longer defrost cycle to aid drainage.

Timers have a defrost cycle that runs between 20 minutes to as high as 35 minutes. Longer is better.
In this case an appliance parts house is your friend.
With the complete model number, ask the counter what cycle your timer has. If your in the 20 minute range, I suggest you go to 30 or 35 minutes. A sharp counter man should be able to find a substitute. GE timers run commonly in the upper range.
I know it sounds like we're trying to kill a flea with a sledge hammer, But in an attempt to make the machine more energy efficient, over the years, they have cut back on defrost time, defrost heater temperature, and heater wattage.
P.S. The timer is mounted in the housing on the top in the fresh food compartment.
