Question about Microsoft Office Outlook 2007: Windows
I brought my computer home from work, it has microsoft outlook 2007 (windows XP). Now I can't send or receive email. How can I resolve this? Can I reset to original settings? I've been clicking on things to try to correct and probaly have things messed up.
I guess you are in a office domain while inside office, so you can just connect your network cable / wireless lan and send / Rcv mails....but once you ar at home you are out of the office network / domain.....
to send mails from home you need to check with your network admin guy how to do that, as you may have to get a login id and password for connecting to your official domain from a public network....
there are many things that need to be done for that....
1 you need to get into the domain of your org.
2 your PC / email setting needs to be given the correct DNS address, IP address, mail box address etc....
Pls check with your email admin guy and get it fixed.
