My element flx3211b, has power, when i press the on botton the power indicator changes from red to blue, but unit doesnt power up. Can u help?

Check dryer Terminal block prongs both outside prongs should give combined 220, and 110 each if u check 1 outside & 1 center (ground) prong. Also check house electrical outlet for full voltage.

CHECK THERMAL SHUT OFF THERMOSTAT USUALLY LOCATED ON THE BLOWER. for OHMS or resistance with a meter. Should show a closed circuit. Ohms WHEN THIS FUSE BLOWS IT WILL SHUT DOWN EVERYTHING.

NEXT Test the PUSH start switch with meter for OHMS. Should show OHMS when pushed in or on start, and no ohms or infinity when in off position.

If you hear a humming/clicking sound from motor area you more than likely have a bad motor.
Try this test out to see if u have weak windings or relay/capacitor on motor.
Open the dryer door and turn by hand the drum while machine is on ON position. And you or someone else presses the door engagement switch in. If it starts up then u have bad windings
Another thing to check is the belt safety switch. With a multi meter.
Especially if u just replaced the belt. The belt safety switch is attached to the Tensioner and motor. IT LOOKS LIKE A DOOR SWITCH SOMEWHAT a little black pc of plastic with 2 prongs going into it. Sits at bottom of motor. Under the Tensioner. Attach meter clips to the 2 prongs on switch, Then when the little white push button is pressed in it should show continuity and none when released.
Lastly check ur DOOR SWITCH for continuity with a meter when the button is pushed in the (on/Door closed position,) it may have gone bad.

Fuse cigarette lighter

charge?
the cig is very simple, its just a connector and a fuse.
if you have 12vdc on both sides of the CIG fuse. key on
then the CIG socket is bad, or the wire behind it fell off
or the Cig ground wire fell off.
a voltmeter will tell you which is bad, and why.
its just a 2 wire circuit, power and ground
fuses that look good can in fact be bad, (hair line cracks)
so use the OHM meter part of you meter, and check for
0 ohms good
infinity ohms bad, works 100% of time , ohms checks, no guessing!@

fuse blown
fuse that look good can be bad, if they look bad, they are.
use any DMM meter, use Rx1 ohm range. check for fuse continuity.
if zero ohms , iTs good, and the meter never lies.
learn to use the meter.
if the fuse is good, use the same meter, to measure voltage
and trace the wires to the failing point. (open circuit)

Tail lights dont work everything else does

if you have a volt meter, turn on the lights and either take out a bulb or
unplug the harness going to one of your rear lights. the using the meter (switched to VDC) see if you power going to the lights if not, you have a wiring harness or a fuse issue. If you have power coming back to the light, switch you meter to Ohms and check to see if you have continuity on the bulb itself. you can also check your fuse with the meter on the Ohm setting.

No spark,no power to ignition module

Do you have power to the fuse? Sometimes fuses look good, but are actually bad. Check with volt-ohm meter. otherwise bad connections and or wire, corrosion causes a lot of bad behaviors, clean to bright metal for all connections and contacts. Again check with volt-ohm meter, or "indicator" light method.

Good fuse no stereo power

There is another fuse, probably inline near the stereo. There may also be two positive wires. look in the fuse panel and make sure all fuses are good, if that doesnt help, get an ohms meter and check for power at the rear of the stereo.

No power

No fuse, but it may be repairable, take cover off, there should be a protection diode at the end of red wire. To check this you need a ohm meter, check to see if open or burned, check resistors and capacitors around this for burned,puffed-up,etc.Also check the circuit board for burn trace. hope this helps..

I got a peavey MP5 Plus. For some reason when you try to turn it on it doesnt turn on. i check the fuse. but it still doesnt work.

Was that the fuse in the plug or the internal one?
Start with the on/off switch. With the plug out check the switch with an ohm meter. If that is good check the transformer, you can do that with an ohm meter too. Still no luck, look around for burnt or damaged parts.
