Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

Broksonic VCR Am trying to setup DVD to run through VCR, as the TV is an older 25" (wall mounted) with only one cable connection. It has worked with just the VCR ... even last night! The Broksonic VCR does not have an AUX cable connection. Have tried running DVD on channels 3 and 4 without success. What channel do I set for the picture to operate from the DVD? Have exhausted all avenues! HELP ... Linda (usalrc31@gmail.com)

It should be either ch 3 or 4, BUT the VCR must be turned on and in the "vcr" mode. There may also be an way that you can switch between tuner and Video on the VCR, it would need to be in video mode.

Hope that helps...

I have an older Broksonic TV that has a built in DVD player.

Under the menu settings, make sure tv is set to CATV and not Air. CATV is for cable.
Then look for tuner options or channel edit options.
Find the "autoprogram" option and select it. It will scan and remember all available channels

Remote

I think your wasting your money. I did too 3-times couldn't get anything to work. A solution that works is to get a new one for the machine.

Try going to http://remotecontrolwarehouse.com/BROKSONIC/076R0JJ010.html

I got mine (new) for $30

GO VIDEO DV2150

you can try going from the wall to the dvd/vcr first then to the cable box then to the TV. It may find the channels but they might not be in the order you usually wouls see them i.e chan 4 may be chan 34 etc. this will only work on an analog connection, if you have digital cable box it will not work. other than that, you have to control everythng from the cable box and the dvd remains on chan 3 at all times.
