Question about LG 42LC2D 42 in. LCD HDTV

1 Answer

LG HDTV Volume bar disappeared from Display

The volume is stuck. I can't change volume either by the remote or by using the volume button on the side of the TV itself. Power off goes to blue and does not shut down completely. Only had TV for 14 months. Ideas?

Hi check to see if the volume button on the side is pushed in or sticking as this will cause all the buttons to not work as the micro thinks you are trying to turn up the button and thinks this button is depressed.

LG LCD TV volume/sensor problems

it could be 2 issues: faulty remotes or stuck buttons on tv's keyboard. Where did you get 2 remotes? cable or directtv boxes? those are universal and must be programed to work with tvs. or, do you have 2 identical LG remotes in your household? either way, if you have kids on premises and lot of drinks carried around, remotes could be contaminated with fluids inside and malfunctioned. You must become a CSI and figure it out!
Good luck and let me know the results.

42" LG 42LC7D LCD TV stuck in demo mode?

Did you have any luck? My LG is stuck in demo mode too. Menu button doesn't work, and keylock was on as default so I can't use the buttons on the TV itself.
