I'm trying to connect it to the computer in order to project the computer image onto the screen. It used to work the way it's connected. Now it doesn't.

Hi i have just connected up panasonic home cinema system via my projector and the titles etc are back to front any ideas ?? Regards

Trying to understand your problem. Sounds like an orientation problem with your projector. Check your manual to get image orientation setup correctly for your projector. Look for projecting image onto the front of screen instead of projecting image thru the back of screen. Some times the application calls for projecting from behind screen just like a projection TV.

Infocus lp425z projector pushes latop display to left quarter of output image

Usually this is a hardware acceleration setting problem on the 'advanced' properties setting in your 'screen resolution' properties on your computer. Re-set the hardware acceleration to the 2nd setting and this should fix your issue. We have this regularly when we project on a double projector system and the one projector keeps shifting everything left until we adjust the hardware acceleration settings on the computer. No more issue.

I purchased a GigaWare USB-A to Serical Cable at Radio Shack to connect my laptop to my hitachi tv, everything shows to be installed correctly on my computer though there is no signs of the connection...

A USB is to transfer information such as Service codes or commands. Is this what you are trying to accomplish with your laptop or are you trying to display an image from your laptop onto your Projection TV.
To this you would need a 15 pin VGA extension cable and a VGA input connection on your Projection TV.

Computer used to work with projector, and now doesn't?

Have you tried pressing Fn F5? On my system (HP), by computer monitor goes dark when I connect the projector. Pressing (Function) FN F5 toggles the video between Computer Monitor, Projector, or Both.
Check the function settings for your computer. On my Compaq laptop at home, the video function is F4, so there may be different settings for your computer.
Good luck!

Why is my projection dark and muddy compared to the brightness on my computer screen?

John here, customer advocate at Dell headquarters. If you can nvigate to the On Screen Display Menu, you should see an "all images" section on the main menu. There you will find brightness, contrast, color temp, white intensity, and gamma controls. You should be able to make adjustments from that menu to sharpen and brighten the image.
