Pyle PMX802M powered mixer blew at an event. Looking for schematic or picture of wiring for power supply to reconnect Ground wire to PCB on heat sink

If it is just a ground wire, you could solder it to any screw mount on the board or where the scorch marks are. What do you need to see?

Besides... did you really expect to have 800 watts of power as per Federal Trade Commission specifications with just a cheap piece of equipment?

Sound stopped coming out from teh tv speakers. i have to run it through my stereo system

Hello, I am John at J. D. Electronics. You have a D4 model. This is caused by a defective spacer under the A / V board. This is not recommended for owner repair, since it involves removal of other PCBs, Sheilds and "spacers" and connectors. On the A / V board ( the one with all the jacks ), is an audio IC that normally runs fairly hot. Therefore, the MFG had to use an aluminum heat sink on the top and bottom of the IC. The problem is that there is a "clay like " spacer pressed between the bottom PCB at the audio IC and an aluminum plate, or heat sink, underneath that sets against the metal back of the LCD panel. Here is what happened; The "spacer " turns into a "sticky goop" causing the whole pcb move towards the Heat Sink under the A / V board. This causes the connections at A / V pcb at the audio IC to come in contact with the bottom aluminum heat sink, thus shorting out the audio IC and then no sound or popping noises. This is common on the D4 and D6 models. We charge about $325 for this repair since it is very time consuming. I have repaired dozens of these sets with this problem. I hope this helps! John

Polk Audio PSW202 subwoofer. Replaced burnt fuse but blows the next fuse after connecting to amplifier and powering on. What else can I do?

Fuse probably went bad because either the large filer capacitors at the edge of the PCB went bad and or the final output IC mounted on the heatsink(15 pin) fried. Check the capacitors and all the semiconductor components on the board for burn marks or corrosion. You have to remove the heat sink clamp from in front of the output IC to adequately visualize its condition. In fact you might have to remove the large aluminum heatsink attached to the chassis to get a good view of the IC. If it or the heat sink clamp show signs of thermal burns you need to replace it. The IC is a TS TDA7294 mono audio amp available at Mouser Electronics. Replace the 35V 4700mF caps with 50V 4700mF caps. You will only have enough space on the top of the PCB for one of the larger caps. I mounted the other on the circuit side of the board. Note the polarity of the original caps and respect it in their replacements. The fuse is a 5 X 20 medium speed slow blow 250V 2.0A glass fuse.

Color out of line i looks 3d in a fake way

the convergence ic of your tv is place at the main board. It is a two big ic that is soldered to the PCB with heat sink. To replace it you need to use a soldering iron ,soldering pump and a screw diver..unsolder it to the PCB replace it with a new one.Apply a silicon compound at the back of the IC before screwing it to the heat sink.

good luck hope this helps..

Specification of part place in the heat sink of the acer al1716As lcd monitor power supply pcb,i cnnot recognized burnt already,is that IC or transistor.it has 6 pin

Hello,

Transistors are with just three pins, so what you are seeing there should be an ic and not a transistor.

It is ics that have numerous pins, transistor have just three legs(pnp) or (npn).

So what you see is an ic.

Take care.

My Acer AL1716As monitor simply does not come on. LED (red or green) is off as well. Should I have any part replaced or perhaps fix it myself? Thanks, Fernando!

Before you do anything else, disconnect the monitor from the computer, then try to turn it on and see if you get any life out of it, if you do then there is a problem with your video card or video cable. If you get nothing then you have to start working on the inside of the monitor.

If you will look online you can probably find a copy of the service manual that will help you tremendously.

Given your description the monitor is getting no power from the power supply. So after unplugging the monitor, the first place to check is the fuse in the internal power supply, you will need a multi-meter. If it is blown you will have to order a new one from Acer. If the fuse is good then the problem will lie with one of the micro switches on one of the circuit boards -- it is sending a false reading to the power supply and forcing it to turn off. This is where the service manual will be critical because there are so many differences between monitors I can't tell you where to go next if the fuse is good because there are just too many possibilities.

No power

The RCA F27242GY uses the CTC185 series chassis. If it blows the main fuse the instant the power plug is inserted in the wall, then you most likely have a shorted power supply IC. This is a large almost-rectangular black IC mounted on the metal heat sink with STK730-020 (or -010) printed on it. Some sets have a metal clip over the top pressing it into the heat sink and some have 2 screws holding it in place. If you change it yourself then you must unsolder and remove the old IC, clean the surface of the heatsink, get a new STK730-020, apply heat sink compound the the back of the new IC, bolt it in place and solder its pins. Replace the fuse again and if you did everything right, the set should play fine.
