I wasn't finished posting and I accidentally pressed the submit button. After disabling the tuner you must select an available source to tune in a new link frequency. I am not sure what problem you are having exactly. Like any other television you must first connect your component cables to your television before the component input is active on it.

There are no user serviceable parts on these flat panel tvs.
Use your warranty if available. This is why buying the extended warranty on expensive electronics is a good policy.
Find a nearby electronics repair shop and get it checked over.

Bang & olufsen Beovision 7- Unable to turn television on When trying to turn the television on using the remote. WAIT appears on the top right side of television.

Nice TV set. Try first unplugging the tv for ten minutes, this quick hard reset will drain power from tv, and sometimes it solves the problem when TV is freezing on startup.
If this soes not work there must be a service reset procedure.

How do i connect my ps3 to my beovision avant? please help!

The only way I can tell to connect, would be using a Playstation, R/F switch, or an after market R/F modulator switch. It converts the audio/video signals to a designated channel(usually 3 or4) to connect with the coaxial input in the back of the beovision box.

I have a ps3 going to hdmi 1 on my receiver, and hdmi out from receiver to tv, i cant get audio or video. what am i missing?

Depending on your TV and what input/outputs you have, you are almost always better off to run any video componenets through TV first then, audio out to receiver. In other words, run your HDMI out frim PS3 to TV then, digital optical out to receiver. If you have the capability to do so, you can run all you video componenets to TV, ie: sat/cable, DVD, etc., to TV with only one audio out to your receiver. You can use your TV's menu to select what you watch and you would only have the one audio out to receiver, you then just have to use the receivers menu to choose the proper channel to listen.

We have a bang and olufsen beovision 7 40 inch tv. when we try to connect our laptop through vga port the tv appears blank without any display, tried connecting the laptop through dvi port also. The...

First, try setting your monitor refresh rate at 60Hz using a known-working monitor. (The VGA input of the Beovision 7 is recommended for 60Hz refresh rate). If this fails to produce output from the Beovision 7, it is very likely, your video driver's resolution is set too high for the Beovision 7 to display signal. If you are using the Beovision 7 as your primary monitor, first connect a known-working monitor to the computer and reduce the resolution to 1024x768. Once you have changed the resolution, try connecting the Beovision 7. If you get video signal, increase the resolution incrementally until you find the maximum resolution the Beovision 7 will handle.

IF YOU ARE USING THE BEOVISION 7 AS A SECONDARY MONITOR USING EXTENDED DESKTOP, reduce the resolution on Monitor 2 output to 1024x768. If video appears on the Beovision 7 at that resolution, incrementally increase the Monitor 2 resolution until you find the maximum resolution the Beovision 7 will accept as a secondary monitor.

No image, only sound when connecting marantz sr 7005 hdmi out to hdmi in on tv philips 47pfl9632d

Whatever video components you have, they should be, depending on inputs on TV, should be run to TV first. Recievers do have pass through ports but, are not the best way to achieve picture and sound. HDMI cables are great but you r reciever may not be able to transfer the video. What I suggest is taht you run your componenets, cable/sat box, DVD, etc. via HDMI, componenet, etc., to TV input, then, run audio out from TV, via(best) digital optical. You can use TV's menu to choose what you watch while, you only have the one input to reciever. Scan your recievers menu to make sure you have selected the proper mode(TV, Aux, Vid2, etc.).. If you run your video unit to TV with component cables, you will have to get your sound through separate cable(s). Component cables have graet video, but do not carry the sound.

I suddenly get audio but no video through all hdmi inputs

If you have you video componenets patched through the reciever, then to TV, this can happen. The reciever can transfer video but, it more connections, not as effiecient, and, leaves more room for error. Your video componenets should be run directly to TV, if you TV has the inputs, via HDMI, component, or RCA the, run a single output, best, digital optical out from TV to reciever. You can use the TV's menu to choose what you are watching and, only have the one audio output from TV to reciever. You would leave the reciever at the same, Aux, Vid 2, selection all the time. You will get your best picture and best audio this way.

PS3 connection

If I remember correctly the Playstation 3 is set to display through the analog output as default.
Plug in your HDMI cable, and plug in the analog SCART cable that came with the box, put your TV on the analog channel that matches the SCART input and start the Playstation. Once you complete the initial Playstation setup you can go to system settings and change the video output from analog SCART to digital HDMI.

Good luck.
