Here is a site that will give you info to most of your questions as far as upgrading your Mac. LowEndMac

more ram and a faster hard drive would improve your machine's performance somewhat.

Windows 7 drivers i need for my PB.

You need tell us what the model and maker of your laptop is. PB? Thats often short hand for PowerBook, which is Apple's old line of Pro laptops. If thats your laptop, it can't run Windows 7. PowerBook have PowerPC CPU while Windows 7 is an OS which only runs on x86 CPUs, so Windows 7 isn't programs to run on PowerPC chips. Apple's new computer use X86 chips, so the now can run Windows 7, but the PB(PowerBook) is too old to do sorry. If PB is another computer, please post which one it is.

Well, there are a lot of reasons that can consequently cause the issues on your Mac. Meanwhile, there are certain ways through which you can do to fix one by one. However, if you prefer a more efficient way to resolve, try the all-in-one Mac speed up software as it can help resolve all issues in just a few clicks.

Yes, it will work. Remember that all memory will operate at the speed of the slowest memory though so unless you're completely replacing the memory it won't increase the speed of the memory.

UPGRADING TO 2 GHZ

1. Check user documentation for supported CPUs for your system.
2. If 2.0GHz CPU is supported on your system, you don't need any additional software.
3. I would upgrade the BIOS firmware first. It might have an additional CPU support.
4. Read information from you old CPU. Exemple: 1.4GHz/256/400. 1.4GHz is a speed of your CPU. 256 is a 256k cache, and 400 is 400MHz BUS speed. In general you can boost speed to 2.0GHz or more and cache to 512k, just keep your BUS speed to 400
5. Post your system model or your motherboard model. That information would help in determining the maximum speed of the CPU for your system.

Good lick!

Need Mac G4 laptop schematic manuel

Not sure if you want an actual circuitry schematic, or a internal parts guide.

A manual for field-replacing just about every component inside your Powerbook can be found here.

I expect that circuitry schematics are much harder to come by, and are actually likely to be protected by trade secrets.

I'm no MAC expert, but I would first try a new cable, then try a different computer...if neither works, it's the drive. If you're really desperate, and brave, open the case and try the hard drive inside either in a different enclosure, or connect it to an internal cable if you can. If you can hear the drive spinning up, it shouldn't be bad, so one of the above may save your data. If not, reply here, I know a major MAC guru who may have a better idea on what to do.
