Won't charge. completley dead

My opinion: Buy a replacement battery at a decent price from a highly rated seller on eBay. IF the phone does not respond any differently, then dispose of it. It WILL fail, the only question is whether it will be silently, or in a flash of really hot fire. The only thing that can happen if a new battery doesn't cure this issue, is a nasty fire which can cause tremendous property damage, injury and even death. I am surprised you have been messing with that phone for this long. Yes, they are AWESOME phones. Yes they do some great stuff - I know folks who won't give up their SG phones for all the money in the world. Ultimately, ALL phones can be dangerous. Get rid of it.

This phone is a fire hazard, and having seen what Lithium-Ion batteries can do I would HIGHLY recommend you recycle it. DO not mess with it. One. Day. More.

Battery fully charged everything works but will not move completley dead

Hi za900

You have several options to consider.
1. Controller is bad. This can only be checked by putting another controller on it. There is no test for controllers.

2. If the charger is bad your scooter will not run.

3. make sure your brake is in the lock position.

4. make sure your scooter is not plugged into the wall.

5. If your brake is bad the scooter won't run.

6. If your Throttle engager is bad the scooter won't run.

Have a tech evaluate for you, too many things could be the problem.

Any durable medical equipment company in your area can help you.

Good Luck

I have not used my sgh i780 for about a year due to getting a company phone. I am now trying to reserrect it and put it on charge. It looked like it was working at one point but then went flat very quickly...

i think it has something to do with it being not used for a long time.... why dont you try using the batteries on other phones... if it will work then the phone is dead if it wont then change the batteries

My phone is completly charged and when i pull it off charge about half an hour after depending on how much i use it, it turns itself off and then when i try turning it back on the Lg start up comes on then...

Hi,
The happy news is there is no problem with phone, the hardware of your phone is in good condition. The problem is the battery. The battery of the phone is dead. This a step behind Stone dead stage.Next state of your battery is stone dead. You can't even use it more. Now the phone Battery will act like charging.Your battery can take small amount charge only because it is dead..Even though you charge your battery for 2 days continuously it will stay for 30 min or 10 min depending the charge usage.

Solution for this is you have to replace it soon..Go to nearest shop and check this with their battery and buy it.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is
resolved or post a comment for further
assistance.

thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

Bought my phone yesterday...Battery was losing charge quickly.. battery was down to half charge after about 15 minutes of fully charging.. Was trying to let the phone die completley then fully charge it,...

Ok first of all you should never let a phone die out of charge at all.IF it dies out of charge there are chances it might charge again once you charge it but in some cases it wont, you need to boost your battery just like jump start your car.It cannot be done anywhere except some service centre. If you are not taking to your service center , then you need to buy a new battery.
