I want to re install xp but it says setup did not finf any harddi

you need to change native SATA settings in bios. then you can install windows xp. The steps are below

1. Turn off the computer.
2. Press the power button and press f10 to open the BIOS Setup.
3. Use the cursor to navigate the Configuration options to locate the Native-SATA setting.
4. • If there is a SATA setting, select the Disable option, and then press F10 to save the change and restart the computer

If repairing the XP installation is not solving your problem, you can try a clean install by formating your drive and re-installing XP.

sounds like the sound card is dying, or the sound codec's are wrong.

download audiodriver for your os then install.frist remove old driver then install this audio driver.

xp could not recognized the sata hard disk during setup, u have to install stat drivers during installtion.

if you have a recovery CD that came with your notebook insert it into the drive and then re-boot the machine... the recovery program should start and let you factory reset the computer (put it back to new) it should work then

You can try to change in bios show HD as ide native or something like that. If u install xp it gonna destroy your vista installation.

Press F10 to enter BIOS setup...
find and disable the SATA native support

Now save and exit then when you reboot and attempt to install XP you will have no problem.
