I have a new quick heal total security need to know how to install it in the pc

Read the instructions that came with your purchase.

Or, don't install it; instead, download from Microsoft:

http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

and install this FREE anti-virus software.

My computer has a virus i want to remove the virus

I fyou are able to use your computer (I assume so, seeing as how you posted on here)

first go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Do the tiny installer, and run a full system scan, it will take a long time.

This should get you cleaned up enough to enable you to get a real-time scanner installed. I recommend AVAST, AVG in my 15 years of experience is sub-par. It has been unable to remove viruses on customer computers on many occasions.

Avast Home Edition is FREE and requires you register with your email address every 14 months at NO COST.

download it from here:

http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

after it installs it will ask you to "Do a system scan at boot up?" click YES and it will do it's thing after it reboots. This will also take a very long time, but after this you should be virus free.

Some viruses are in my computer. I want to remove it immediately. Kindly convey what can I do for that?

Hi,
Which operating you are using what is the RAM configuration if that config is nearer to this for ex:- Processor greather than P4 and RAM atlest 512 MB then install Quick Heal Anti Virus or Quick Heal Total Security 2009 from the below links

For Anti Virus Plus
http://download.quickheal.com/builds/qh2009/avplus/qhnt2009.exe

For Total Security
http://download.quickheal.com/builds/qh2009/ts/tsnt2009.exe

and before installing first of all turn off system restore, as that is the place where most of the viruses hide, you can update it automatically if you have net do a complete system scan after that only restart the PC.

it might clear all your problems if any thing goes wrong

or give a comment

Antivirus

Antivirus is basically a protection against viruses....

Basically it protects your pc from worms, trojans and viruses...

A computer worm is a self-replicating computer program. It uses a network to send copies of itself to other nodes (computerterminals on the network) and it may do so without any userintervention.

A Trojan horse, also known as a trojan, is a piece of malware which appears to perform a certain action but in fact performs many different forms of codes.

A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer without permission or knowledge of the user.

Trial version

Trial versions, in general, are limited versions of the full/paid version for which they are meant as demonstration products.

To this end, to answer the question you pose about trial anti-virus product, Quick Heal Total Security 9.5; While I have not experienced that particular product I would presume that it's full potential will expire as the trial limits proclaim making updates and heuristic scan databases outdated subsequently leaving your system unprotected. This is often my chief issue with OEM built pcs having pre-initiated trial anti-virus & security products rather than customer initiated installations. Consumers blindly use their systems ignoring the warnings of less than current status, posing great threat of irrevokable disaster.

There are AV products that are FREE (not disabled/crippled) for use by individuals; AVG, Frisk and of course all the major vendors can provide FREE on-demand scanning. Remember, that AV only helps if it's installed before it's needed ;)

Hope you find this to be a suitable solution.
While not FREE, SunBelt Software has a great unlimited home use ideology that is worth looking into ;) Click to read more...
