Question about Remington R-9190 Electric Shaver
The razor is used 20 seconds a day and used to go months between chargings and would eventually slow down indicating a charge would soon be needed. Now 4 years later it will not last 7 days (2 minutes useage) and will abruptly go from perfect performance to not starting at all - just overnight. is it the battery? I assume they can be changed. Or do we have something else going on? Plugging it in or recharging it seems to solve the problem of it not even attempting to start so I suspect it is not a switch problem.

The problem is almost certainly the batteries. You can access the batteries by removing the screws on the back and taking off the back cover. You will find batteries at shaveroutlet.com. You will need two batteries. See link below
