Most of the drivers are supported in the latest fedora versions.Red hat is a standard release versions so some drivers were not available in that case you can update the kernel. So you will get most of drivers.

I just wondering because it should auto detect by your OS but anyway you can use Intel PRO 100/1000 network driver instead.

I have installed Win xp sp 3 in hp compaq 2300 dx desktop, now network drivers are not working , i have downloaded the latest drivers from the site...

Since you didn't mention what exactly the problem is, whether it's not detected or drivers not supported or etc..etc.. I have to assume myself as incompatible drivers. If I am right, there are three Network Drivers for your System, i.e. Broadcom as Gigabit Ethernet, Belkin as Wireless and Intel as NIC. In fact, you have to install all the three drivers, to run the different network features. If you are connecting through a broadband, you'll need the Intel NIC and for wireless, Belkin and for Gigabit (fiber) ethernet, you'll need to install the BroadCom.
I don't know what you've installed, but if the problem still persists even after installing the drivers, then I would recommend you to run the Intel Drivers Update utility. This is an online free service on the Intel official website (click here), open the link, wait for few seconds and then click "Check your system for the latest updates", the utility will scan your computer for available hardwares and it'll show you the available downloadable drivers. Simply follow the onscreen instructions to install them.

If you can sort it out this way, you better use another freeware like Device Doctor (click here to download), download and install it, then run the drivers scan and update the required/necessary drivers.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.
