I bought a new htc touch diamond phone and within eight months the charger has stopped working. m not able to charge my cell through that charger.please give me d solution as i m not able to use d phone since long thnx

Are you sure you enter correct code? IF yes maybe your phones need to be reset. Try to call your network provider and asking him about HTC Touch Diamond P3700 unlock code, don't forget to explain your situation and you need needs 1-2 weeks before you get that code and it takes a charge. Or you can try buy instant HTC unlock code from third party sites with lower price and more quick turnable.

Try to narrow down where the problem lies. Try charging from another outlet to make sure it's not a problem with that outlet. Then try a different charger or battery.

Either you charger is dead(internally)or replace the battery.Sometimes the cords connected to the charger is cut off(Unseen but appears when ran thru a DMM analyser).If the charger works with other units the charging input is internally loose and needs opening by someone who knows the insides of a really costly cellphone.

I have this kind of problem =( . i have htc touch diamond and when i charge the phone it has 20 % batterylife , the phone is lighting BUT after 6 h i look at the battery life after charging and it has still 20% of 100 % battery life
so it has the chargin light but the battery Wont charge =(

hi buddy i had the same issue two years back, even i did the same thing , i bought a new battery. but the actual problem is with the charger. the actual voltage wasnt there to make the battery to hold the charge, i got a new charger fraom service center, and the problem ends ther. hope ur issue will be solved. try to charge ur phone through usb cable.

the software that comes with the HTC Diamonds is notorious for eating the battery. you need to upgrade the rom on the phone to a better version

Well hope so you didn't damaged the sensors! try this : use the phone until battery is empty and switches off. then put it on the charger for 4 hours. If no joy,try different battery to make sure that device is not damaged and get a new battery.

Yes, it just happened to mine. I've had mine since Oct. 2008 (so almost 7 months) and last week I noticed it was running out of battery mid-day even though I barely used it.

Always make sure you are closing all running programs throughout the day by clicking on the top right corner (the symbol with 3 horizontal lines and a downwards arrow, then clicking the X).

Make sure you test it out with a different charger, not just different electrical outlets. Or, at least check to see if the "HTC" logo on the charger is lit. If it is, the charger is fine and the problem is most likely with the phone itself.

If so, take it into the carrier you purchased it from (ie Sprint) and have them take a look at it. It is most likely a problem with the port on the bottom of the phone. Good luck.
