I filled up my 32GB iPad Air and had to delete ALL my pics, after being sure they are backed up if you want to keep them, and deleting some of my apps that I didn't use. You can delete them from iTunes when you are connected, or try it from your ipad.
HD movie recording disabled: SOLVED for 2 HDRSR5's (work and home): After copying all movies to computer, "DELETE ALL" from HD view. Evidentally if you have been deleting movies using computer, the still images used for 'scene selections' remain and fill its capacity. You must be in HD view when choosing Delete All (that is, rather than just deleting all Standard movie clips)
do you watch lots of blu-ray movies? br movies store some disc information on the ps3. i forget off the top of my head, but under the media section, there is an option to see all the br info. it will bring up a list of all the br movies you watched. you can click into each movie, and pull up the menu, and delete the movie info. not sure how much that will clear up for you but it's a start.
also, delete game saves as some of them can take up a lot of room. demos as well.
This is a common problem (bug) with this game. Basically you have to delete something, anything, off your harddrive. If you have nothing on then download a demo or something then delete it. This should fool yr ps3 into releasing the space you need to play r&c.
you do not have enough space left on your hard drive... try buying an external hard drive or deleting some music/demos/games then try...
hope this helps, if so please rate...thanks
Hi hsaucier, Although you have a wide-screen television, it is possible the video you are viewing was recorded in an even wider format. The bars should be smaller than if you were viewing the same DVD on a TV with a 4:3 aspect ratio, but will likely not disappear unless you view the DVD at a zoom setting. Many movies are shown in theaters at a wider ratio than 16:9, and the Blu-Ray disc has probably retained the entire picture rather than cropping it to fit your screen. I recommend trying different viewing options that zoom in slightly. Be aware that this may cut off part of the picture from the left and right sides, but depending on your personal preference, you may not notice anything missing.
Once looking at the player in explorer, go to tools - folder options - view hidden files and folders. Once you select that and hit okay, your vids should be on there (but a bit opaque). Just simply delete them.
You need to try to re-Update your PS3 from a memory card. Follow the directions on www.playstation.com to download the update using your regular PC and copy the update to a Memory card that has at least 120Mb of free space.
Go to www.playstation.com. Click on "Playstation 3", then click on "Playstation Network". Click on "System Update". Scroll to the bottom of that screen. Click on the next to last bullet called "Update using a PC" Follow the directions in detail.
