My Fujifilm Finespix S4200 won't turn on

Your camera will work with AA batteries.
Always be sure the batteries are charged.
Insert the batteries correct plus to plus and minus to minus. Only one battery the wrong way around and the camera won't work. Check contacts of the batteries and in the battery compartment of your camera. Dirty or oxidised contacts can be cleaned with a dry cloth. Never use sharp tools to clean contacts or anything in or on your camera.
Always charge the batteries before using it for the first time, or if you have not used it for a long period. 3 months is a very long period.
Also check if the battery door is closed correct. Most cameras do have a switch connected to the battery door. If the switch does not work correct, it could be you can't switch on your camera.
Do not use alkaline batteries unless it is absolutely necessary. In most cases, alkaline batteries have a shorter service life than NiMH. Alkaline battery performance is limited, especially at low temperatures. The use of NiMH batteries is recommended.
Never use manganese (Zinc-Carbon) batteries in your camera. They can't deliver enough power and can start leaking, causing damage to your camera.

If nothing helps, perhaps you should try a new set of batteries and or another charger.

To rule out the camera is defect, put in new alkaline batteries. If the camera starts up normal, you can remove them end concentrate on the batteries and charger.

Hi: I currently owned a Craftsman Lawn Tractor- 22"-18.5HP-Briggs/Stratton Engine. I am having problems with the battery not holding its charge. I'm having to jumpstart it at all times. I have...

There is a wire that comes down from the top of the motor and that is what charges your battery. Make sure it is connected, it will come down and out of the top shroud probably close the starter solonoid. Your mower will start and run without this connected, it just will not charge the battery. If it looks Ok and is hooked up, your charging system could have gone bad. Take a volt meter and check the voltage with engine off and engine running(it should be higher running). If this tests OK, then you have somthing discharging, if thats the case go to your local auto parts store and buy a battery cut off switch. This will allow you to turn a nob after useage and not allowing the battery drain. Then you simply turn the nob back to on right before you start the engine. This is a simple and easy way to fix the problem. Hope this helps.

Please take a moment to rate my answer..........Thanks

No caller ID. TP company says I have service.

  • Did you fully charge your phone? - Make sure you fully charge for 16-24 hours .

  • Is the battery old? - Replace the battery.

  • Is the electrical outlet switch turned on? - If you are using AC (electrical) power, make sure that the unit is connected to a non-switched electrical outlet.

  • Are the connecting wires tight - Unplug the AC power converter from the unit and plug it back in.

  • Do you have Caller ID service with your telephone company - In order to receive Caller ID records, you must subscribe to the standard name and number Caller ID service available through your local telephone company. If the Caller ID works for normal calls but not on Call waiting calls, then you must contact your phone company to get the combined CID/CW service.

  • Caller ID shows up after second ring - Be sure to wait until the second ring before answering. Caller ID signals comes through after the first ring, if caller pick ups phone too soon Caller ID signal will not be transmitted to the handset.

  • Confirm that caller ID is still working on that particular line by checking another phone on the same line - If Caller ID is not coming through contact your phone company provider.

If this does not fix your problem, contact your authorized Service Center.*

My 880 will not charge I used this 2 years ago and it worked The remote still holds the old settings I now want yo use it but the unit said battery low recharge. I tried to charge it but it would not...

There is a trick with these remotes. Take a tiny piece of paper and
wedge it in between the battery and the side of the battery compartment
opposite the battery contacts when you insert battery.
This will apply more pressure between battery contacts and remote.
Now your harmony should properly charge up overnight.
Had the same problem with mine and the paper trick fixed it.
Was even able to use the old battery again.
Has something to do with the three contacts on the battery.
All 3 need to make good contact.

Canon EOS Digital Rebel 300D will not take pictures

Have you tried to take picture by switching off the autofocus to manual focus in a prperly lit environment?
If it takes a picture, then it has something to do with your auto focus system of your camera. In such a case: try taking out the battery, the memory card etc and switch off the camera and keep it for like that for about 5 minutes. And then insert only the fully charged battery and try again.
If it still gives you a problem and keep trying to focus You will need to take it to the nearest Canon Service centre.

Uniden Power Max 5 Battery problem

Your phones have the charger built into them and that is what has gone bad. After a while the dealt-V sensing unit dies and the phone overcharges the battery. You will notice your batteries heat up when charged then your delta-V sensing circuit is probably shot.

Personal Note: I think home phone manufacturers are using old non-lipo technology because it has these faults and you will have to get a new phone after some time. Also.... Why aren't home phones half as cool as cell phones??? Hmmmm.... Yeah I want my home phone to get, wifi, contact sync, usb connection, color screen, multi-ring, infinate contact storage, calendar, timer, and all the other bs in a cell phone. At least contact sync through USB, come on. Or even a shared phonebook for all phones right.
