Question about Dometic Rooftop RV Air Conditioner
More than likely the fan motor is hot to the touch which indicates a electrically burned up motor.
You're only chance would be a bad fan capacitor. This will be a small gray or silver thing about the size of a large cigerette lighter. If' it's bad - it will invariably be 'bulged' somewhat. These capacitors are cheap - probably less than $15 retail, and easy to change out. Problem is finding one. You'd need to go to a Air Conditioning Supply House (Wholesaler) to find one.
Note: if the fan motor is 'not' hot to the touch and the fan capacitor is bulged - then it's a good bet that the capacitor is bad and you'll get off fairly cheap - even if you call a service tech.
If it's a bad fan motor you'll probably looking at $200-$300 repair bill.

Feel the motor and see if hes hot ...... spin the fan by hand and see if it spins freely if not the bearings have seized up. So either rebuild the fan motor simply by replacing the bearings and oiling them and that should fix your problem. IF the fan spins freely OHM out the fan and make sure there is no shorts or openings in the fan. if your fan motor checks out good both mechanically and electrically then your next step is to check the capacitor and control board

Souns like the compressor is running but the cooing fan is not. First you should see if the fan is blocked . Then see If the fan motor is getting power. If the motor is getting power it could be that the motor is bad. If the motor needs a capacitor to start that could also be the problem. Look for a cylinder shaped protrusion on the side of the motor. If these all check out then whatever tells the fan motor to come on is not working. Sorry but I cant help with that. Good luck!!

SOURCE: The ac is not fully
The first thing you should do is make sure the fan turns freely by hand. If it does then check the capacitor and replace it if it's bad. If the fan doesn't turn freely then you may need a new fan.
