Home theater is not reading MP4 Files . how to resolve this issues

For every format (MP4 is not one, but dozens of formats and no standard) you need a player, or on a computer a setting in a program. A DVD player, only can play one format, a DVD format. Actually it is even a coded format. When you have a MP4 file, you should encode it to to the DVD format and then but it to a DVD, before you try to play it in a DVD player. Try reading some articles about video formats on Wikipedia, when it is interesting enough for you to understand different Video (and Audio) formats.

I have one mp3 player with 1 gig space when i want to format it the windows answer cannot complete the format and the space of that is zero and when it was healthy it,s space became 109 megabyte

Hello,

If I understand you correctly, you plugged your MP3 player into your computer and then formatted the drive on the mp3 player?

I do not believe you should format the MP3 player. It is already formatted to read/write files. You may have damaged it by doing that. Try a hard reset of the MP3 player. You can do this by pressing the small reset button and holding for 10 seconds, normally.

You may need to contact technical support from the company you bought the mp3 player from for further assistance.

Hi, I have a Samsung DVD Player H1080 R. Nice player with sleek design. When I try to connect my Seagate Go Flex USB 2.0 Plug & Play (1 TB), it doesnt play. There is data in the external hard disk,...

Good day!

These are the 2 possible causes and solution on that problem:
  • The format of the file on U.S.B device is not compatible to the format requirements of the DVD player. For example your DVD player required A.V.I or MPG/M-PEG for the video while the file format of your U.S.B is F.L.V and when you try to insert it to the U.S.B port the file doesn't read. You have to do is convert the file that store on your U.S.B device depends on the format requirement of your DVD.Use a total video converter to convert the file on your U.S.B to the format you need to play on the DVD player.

  • Or the problem could be the U.S.B itself, because the U.S.B host on this product does not supported all U.S.B device. Please try to use other mass media device such as memory card or mp3 players.
I hope this solution will be helpful.Thank you.

Hello i have sony AD-7240S cd/dvd drive it can read all cd/dvds but it cant read my burnt cd/dvds plz give me suggestion

there is something wrong with the format of the files that you burnt. its either the format is not recognized by your dvd player or the format is not supposed to be burnt.try reading every details whenever you're burning a file to a cd/dvd. at the same time, check the specifications of your dvd player and find out the formats that it can read or recognize so that you'd know what format should you burn a file into.

NEED TO USE THE PHILIPS MEDIA CONVERTER APPLICATION PROVIDED TO CONVERT FILES TO FORMAT THAT THE PLAYER CAN READ

Hello,

All support for the SA6045/02 is on this page:
http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=SA6045/02&slg=en&scy=GB
Scroll down to Software and drivers to see the Media Converter software.

Click the zip file and best would be to save the file to a location on your computer.
After the download finished, unzip the file with WinZip or Winrar.
Open the folders of the extracted files:
under folder
MC_2.0.2.80_SA33xx_SA61xx_Intl_GM_CD02004_0928 start Setup.exe to install Media Converter Software, ArcSoft.

MediaConverter for Philips converts following formats to player, into WMV :
AVI (Microsoft video I format), MPEG-1, 2, 4, DVD (*.vob), MOV, WMV, RM etc.
Needs Quicktime (for MOV) and Windows Media Player 11 (for WMV)
installations.

SA6045/02 manual:

Stuck on reading what do

Format the player. THis will fix your problem but this will also remove all the files on your device. To perform this, turn off the device, slide the power switch down it will be showing orange. When it is showing orange press and hold the center/middle button while connecting the player to the computer. Now it will be detected as a drive on your My Computer window. Now right click on it then choose FORMAT make sure the file system is FAT32 then click on start. Wait for it finish.

Downloading from Itunes

Your Itunes library may consist of MP4 (Itunes format) files, WAV files, and MP3 files. If you're attempting to transfer MP4 files to your MP3 player, then no it will not work. You'll need to convert them to MP3 format first.

Here's the really bad news...the only way to convert an ITunes MP4 song is to first burn it to a CD. Then you need software to pull the song from the burned CD back into your computer in whatever format you choose. Nero is an example of software that will accomplish this. I use rewritable CD's to do this so you don't waste a bunch of disks.

This was by design from your friends at Apple.

Hope this helps.

Tried formatting, tried all of that.

I had the same problem and I called Sandisk. They had me go into the files, then they had me click system. Then I had to go somewhere to enable the hidden files to be shown. They had me delete pp5500 file. My player has worked fine since. That file has something to do with drm because the tech guy asked me what subscription service I used. I use Bearshare and he was like "that's not a subscription service!" I told him that it was and he siad that file licensing is why it gets stuck on refresh. So call Sandisk they had me up and running in a couple of minutes.Of course I called at 4 in the morning when they first open!
