Look for the long dash at the end of the letters, that is the space.

How do I leave a space between words in the Bernina 1630 embroidery programs?

In the alphabet list, there is an "underscore" that is a space. The stitching continues with an underlined space until it gets to the next letter.

Can I do freehand embroidery using this machine?

Most any sewing machine (zig-zag capable is probably better but a straight stitch can be used) should be able to do manual embroidery/applique. The lady in the video states she's using an embroidery foot, but in reality a darning or free motion presser foot may be better. Most embroidery presser feet actually press down on the fabric making it difficult to move the fabric manually. A darning or free motion presser foot is actually shorter and allows space for the fabric to move freely.

How do I change from double line spacing to single and change the font

So many of the built in fonts and designs in these embroidery machines aren't easily manipulated. Computer digitizing software is what you want to use to get the spacing and layout correct.

Can I space between words with my baby lock ellure embroidery machine

Yes. If you are using the built in fonts, the "space" is after the letters & numbers and just before the "open parenthesis". It looks like the underscore.

Placing a space between words on the lcd screen.

Go to the end of the alphabet and use the underscore.

This will leave a space and not actually stitch the underscore.

Spacing between words

I have the Model 600. In the characters, there is one that looks like an "underline". Actually, it allows a space between words and does not make an underline mark. Some of the embroidery machines use that character to allow a space between words instead of having a "space" character.

Ebroidering two llines

I don't think you can do 2 lines of text in the computer of the machine. If you have a software program that allows you to do lettering, you can do 2 or more lines. I haven't found anywhere in the instructions that really helps with lettering stored in the machine. I purchased Embroidery Magic 2 for $98. It is a powerful little program for the price and comes with 5 fonts. Also does manual digitizing (which I haven't really figured out yet). Do you have PED Basic to downloand designs from your computer to an embroidery card? If so you can download many free designs and purchase lettering at very good prices on many sites. Just remember that lettering purchased from the web doesn't not mean it is a keyboard font and you will need to combine letters to make words (treat each like a separate design). Maybe this will help.
