Make sure you clean the contacts of your cartridges. Take a damp q-tip and swipe it back and forth on the contacts so the dirt comes off of it.

Then take a clean q-tip and swipe it back and forth so the contacts dry. Then try playing another game with clean contacts. If you still only get the flash. The check out your memory card that is inside of the top cover. Make sure the contacts are clean on those then reinsert it into the slot.

If you do all of this and its still blinking, could be either a problem with the memory card which you can replace for cheap thru ebay or the system itself.

Also verify that the input your using is setup properly on the tv that you have the system hooked up to.

My nintendo 64 is hooked up to the video/audio input on my tv but the screen wont change! it stays blue. how can i play it?

Usually if a Nintendo 64 won't start up even though it's connected properly, it's because the cartridge contacts are dirty. Try blowing out the cartridge slot with canned air, that usually works for me. If that doesn't work, you may also need to clean your game(s).

Flash player won't work

Chances are you have two versions of Internet Explorer, a 32 bit and a 64 bit. , and you have a 64 bit version of Win7. In your start menu you may see two versions of Internet Explorer. One may have "64 bit" next to it. Open the other version of IE (which will be the 32 bit) and try installing the flash player with that one.

If that doesn't work try completely un-installing flash player and re-install it.

Hi I'm having a problem with my Nintendo 64, it won't play the game. I just recently bought Super Mario 64 at a yard sale, and when i got home it doesn't work. I unplug and plug everything,...

Well It might be the gamepack but the only way to test it out is to try it one a different N64 console to see if you have any luck if it works somewheres else than your N64 console has an internal problem of it 0 luck on something else than Its a fake gamepack because the old consoles will reject fake game packs then.

My nintendo 64 won't start how do I make it start

Make sure that the power adapter is plugged in good on both ends. If still no power then the adapter may be bad. If at all possible get a secondary one (From a friend if available) and test then. If still no power then the unit may be bad.

Best of luck

My nintendo 64 doesn't work the power button will flash red when i try to turn it on and the tv will flash with it and if i push the restart it doesn't do anything help

Sounds like your plugs/wires are having a problem, or something on the inside of the console. Try: Unplugging and replugging wires. Blowing on the inside of the cartridge slot, the cartridge, try to clean the cartridge slot with rubbing alcohol, and check for bent connectors. This is an infamous problem with N64's

Cant get nintendo 64 hooked up to flat screen

Wow, the classic Nintendo 64. That was my first gaming system. I do know that the 64 has default RCA cords (Red, Yellow, White). They are required to be inputed into your TV. Make sure the 64 is plugged into a power source and that it turns on. Make sure that your game actually works. Clean out your 64 by using a can of compressed air, do the same to your game.

Finally try to start it up.

If I helped in any way please rate me and help me out.

Thanks,
Brandonmxb
