I cannot get it to charge, even with a new battery. The screen sometimes blinks, and says that the battery needs charging. You cannot talk on the phone even if it is plugged in.

Sure the battery is charged? Can you operate the camera with just the adapter? If so, does the camera work then. If so the new battery is defective.

What's blinking the battery charge light? If so that is not a problem unless the battery is not charging. The battery only has a useful life, then it has to be replaced when it refuses to charge. If you AC Adapter is ok and allows you to get on the laptop and work, then your battery needs to be replaced.

You can look at the power options in the control panel to see if the battery is holding a charge. Or you can remove the power cord and work off the battery and if it goes dead real quick, that's another indication that it needs to be replaced.

Firstly, Remove Sim Card , Memory Card and try to reboot 3-6 times,sometimes this trick is working.Even if the problem still persist better to contact mobile repairing shop or follow the procedure below.

First download and install Pheonix from this link. Connect your phone with the USB to your PC and let the driver install ...wait for a moment.(If your phone working).Lastly after just finished (In case your phone is Dead, unable to switch on in normal mode start from here) Connect the phone to pc without powering...insert good battery and Click the "Referbish" button after this, a message will prompt you "press power botton" etc. insert charger or press it and wait until the phone will Restart automatically in normal mode 10-15 minutes. It could possibly be the battery or the charger itself.Try purchasing the charger it self.Use the old battery to see if it will charge it. If it does not charge you may have to purchase a new battery.as well.

The same thing happened to my DS that was 3 years old. But at a point it didn't even turn on. The top screen made a quick blink then it turned back off automatically. I suggest you just get a new DS (I got a DSi) because a new battery is VERY expensive.

Looks like you need a new battery. Same thing happened with a DELL XPS, once the new battery was in place, all was fine.

It depends on how much talking your doing. The Slvr is known for its low talk-time battery power. My slvr would last about 3 to 4 days on a charge, unless i was talking on it a lot. sometimes i would be charging it every other day. So it really all depends on the talk-time. Invest in a car charger for sure.

if it show fully battery also when u charge your battery it show from the red indicate only tht is not a problem... u need to charge the battery fully ... untill the msg shown as charge complet .. so need not to worry about the Red blinking battery indicator when you plug in charger.
