Through my experience with the exact same issue, I found that my only alternative was to remove and replace the door and jams in the right direction. The hinges, door knob hole and catch will have to be reversed and with he existing holes and mortise joints already cut on the door and jam, the best solution is to correct it. Regardless of what is done, you'll spend more time correcting and hiding the pre-existing cut outs. It is much faster and easier to correct it, than to modify it. Just thought I'd pass along what I have experienced.

Light not working

Replace the light switch at the top of the door opening. Kill the power to the unit, pull down the grille up top, then remove the cover over the switches. the light switch is the one with the white back. The one with a black back is the fan switch. pull the 2 leads off, open the fridge door, squeeze the switch with a pair of pliers to pop it out of the opening, then install the new switch in the opening facing the same direction. put the wires back on , in any order doesn't matter, put the cover back on the switches, then the grille back on and restore power to the unit.

Door jamb switch

all doors there are drivers, and then OTHERS, (wiring)
its wired OR logic, so any switch grounds, it turns them on.
and is programmable on all cars. to have this on or off (features explained in the operators guide, lost that?)

CRV has 3 lamps
front dome
rear dome
and spots.
all of them are messed up? for all doors.
if yes, ITS programming. is wrong.

the rear light is directly controlled lamp to rear lamp. (hatch glass or gate switches.
and has a slide switch, off,on, auto.
the spots lamps are direct. on, or off
the front however is totally different and wired unique.
as you know the drivers door is unique, as it operates the
keys left in igntion, or head lights left on, mode. so if those work
right then the drivers door switch, is,, working......
the front dome
has 3 modes. again , off , on and auto .
Auto is the MCU , unit, the MCU sees any door open and the front dome gets input to the AUTO pin, and if in auto the lamp glows.
i dont think the MCU is programmable but do read the oper guide for that., i dont have one.

Door light stays on i sprayed wd40 on the sensors not helping

then you need to pull them out and replace them. there is not really much to go wrong. when the door is open they release and put a ground on the bulb. if you light is on, then you have the interior
3 way light switch in the wrong position, or the door switches are broken

I have a 2001 Lincoln LS. My rear passenger door

you can try feeding the switch direct but you will need to find out which wire carries the power to the switch, this can be accomplished using a test light or small meter. when you find which wire carries the power to the switch then you by-pass the switch and put the power to the other side of the switch manually instead of using the switch and the door lock will undue ut self. then you can change the door lock actuator.

To put the windows up manually you will need to get inside the door. It sounds like you could have a bad switch. If you take the door off or can take out the window switch panel, put a jumper wire on the switch that tell the window to go up. If this is not working go directly to the motor where you can give the motor power by closing the circuit at the motor and the window will either go up or down. If it goes in the wrong direction just reverse the polarity of the wires.
