Konica 1112 Error code 35

How do I clear the error error code 35

    Thanks Nitrotrike,

The error code 35 was caused by a fluke. I inserted paper into the manual feed tray before the copier was up to proper temperature.

I did take it into the dealer for repair. He just cleared the error code and it seems to be ok now. I was just wanting to know the proceedure for clearing the error code in case it happens again.

Knowing the proceedure could possibly save me two 1hr trips to the dealer.

    Thanks

Code 35 is a fuser overheat / underheat condition error.

Unless a repair was made, the code will return when the machine sees the fault again.

I just ask my copier to try to enlarge past 200%, had really little type on the original. It says "call service" code F-35-1. I work from home and need help to clear out this message. Please...

Fuser error, here is the reset procedure.

Set SW2 (sub power switch) OFF and then back ON, after set to "0" the bit 1 in DIP SW3 in 25 mode. (If you switch power back on without releasing the latch, the error will recur.).

Hope helps.

Problem: The Digital Panel is Reporting Code 34-1, 34-2, 35-1, 35-2 or 36-2 Cause: The copier is having a problem with the fusing unit.
Solution:
  1. This is occasionally a false alarm. Try turning the copier off for about 10 seconds and turning it back on. If the code doesn’t clear, please call 1-800-877-2679 for service.

Error code f-35-8

Hi,

On most Konica copiers, an F35 error indicates:
1. low temperature of the fuser; and/or
2. open lamp; or
3. open thermo wire fuse; or
4. open thermistor; or
5. or anything heat related at start or warm up.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

My service info doesn't go back that far either, but this procedure should work to reset the code. However, I would make sure there's no toner build-up on the fuser thermistor or thermostat first, otherwise the code will reappear.

Here's the instructions on clearing the code:

Enter the 25 mode by holding down the 2 and 5 keys while turning on the copier.
Press the P key, then enter 47, then press P again.
Enter 0 and press the Print key.
Turn the machine off/on to exit the 25 mode.

If the code reappears, then theres a problem. If it doesn't, you're good to go!
