TV won't pick up DVD or Direct TV Receiver

Came back home after being out of town for a few days. I know we had bad storms and the power went out while I was gone. All other tv's in house with direct tv work fine except for my good one?!

It does turn on but just fuzz and no sound.

I am not sure what type of set you have, but if it is a newer one, then it should have a separate power switch on the back. I would try shutting it down for a few minutes and powering back up. It almost sounds like the tuner has gone. Are you getting any colors? or just gray snow?If you can see the menu at all, I would also try reset to factory defaults... good luck

Hitachi 46w500 went off tonight during storms, low voltage, wont turn back on

There might be a failure on the power supply or horizontal section of the TV even if you see some light inside the TV. Some of the voltages could be missing and that is why the TV fails to power up.
If you know how to use a multimeter, you could check all the fuses from your power supply.
Unplug your TV from the main AC line if you intend to do it yourself.
You will know how much you can do or it might safer to contact a tech.
Let me know if you need further assistance

Onkyo tx-sr604 help

You said you tried hooking the HDMI up directly from the TV to each component, and that worked. How is it usually hooked up - through some kind of switch? I'm not completely understanding your setup here.

No longer getting video feed through Home Theatre receiver

HDMI ports 5 and 6 on the back of tv no longer are working. (We had a series of thunder storms so don't know if that is how they got damaged or if it was something else) but moved HDMI input cable to HDMI port 4 on tv and everything is working again. Service call placed for warranty service on tv to repair bad ports.

New home theater setup- no signal at tv using onkyo tx=sr605

Could well be the quality of your cables. if you have high end cables the consult a service agent. if you have the cables that came with the products, go and get some better ones.
