Question about HP LaserJet 4250 Printer
Our hp laser jet 4250 is printing a vertical streak on every sheet. It seems to be a ghost image of whatever was about 3 inches above it.
So there must be a roller or something internal that is carrying over ink.
Replacing the ink cartridge/ drum had no effect.
The problem you are having is caused by the fuser. The fuser is the part in the printer that heats up and basically melts ( fuses) the toner to the page. The fuser has a heat roller that is coated with teflon, your fuser coating has worn off in spots so the toner is sticking to the roller and causing the ghost image. You will need to order a replacement fuser. You can do a search on Google to find a replacement, the parts number is RM1-1082.
I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.
