Hello,
you have to contact your telephone company, simply because this is a problem from either the electrical socket on the wall or you are probably experiencing a problem from your phone company either your line have been terminated by them duely because your subscription has expired or probably they may be experiencing a BAD NETWORK PROBLEM in your terrain. If you have access to another phone (cellphone, etc) then call the phone company to check your account status.
thanks for using fixya,

take care.

hello, kindly unplug all the phone from the socket and also seperate the handheld from the base then you reconnect them back after 3 minutes to see if the problem persist.then also, since you said the phone uses sim card,i will advice you check if the sim is appropriately inserted,if not then you re -insert it.

    take care.

Hello! Since the base unit says "no line" When there is a line; The input jack (in the base unit) is the most likely culprit...Without this connection nothing will work...I'm sure you've changed out the line cord...and plugged another phone into the wall jack; Without success...You can give the base unit female jack a good visual; Bright light...magnifying glass...Look for bent or misaligned pins...

Also, if you subscribe to a DSL line and you are using a blocking filter between the line cord and the wall jack; The filter itself may be open...

Again, Let me apologize for improper service..................I am here! Saailer

Can I get replacement phones (3) for Panasonic KX-TG6843B 6.0 3-Handset Cordless Telephone? This phone blocks up to 250 calls. If I keep the base, will I keep my blocked numbers.

The stored block numbers should be saved. The database is in the base's memory. Since the KX-TG6843 base can support a total of 6 KX-TGA680S handsets, you can purchase and register 3 new handsets. If needed, you can de-register the old ones from any working handset and then add even more. See page 35 of the manual, ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/telephone/om/kx-tg6841_mul_om.pdf . Additional handsets are available from Panasonic, http://shop.panasonic.com/support-only/KX-TG6843B.html , Scroll down to the Accessories section and expand it. Amazon.com also has the handsets: https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-KX-TGA680S-DECT-Accessory-Handset/dp/B00BS4D2CU .

I hope this helps.

Worked this morning. Now indicates 'no base'. What's wrong?

Dave,
I am guessing this is a wireless phone of some kind. I suggest that the base unit (the one with the phone line plugged into it) should be checked to see if it is being supplied power and that the phone line cable is inserted in it.

I have the kx-tg 4500 4 line base unit phone. Line one flashes but does not ring or display caller. The other lines work fine. The handsets show no activity ie they don't even flash if a call comes in on...

I had the same problem once, turned off the base unit from power cord and the phone line and all connected handset units, then turned it back on & it worked.

My GE cordless phone doesn't have a dial tone and can't hear what the person on the other line is saying. Model # 21029GE3-A

Swap phones, or try a diferent one and see if that works. If no, try a different phone connection line (cord from the wall to the phone). If still no, make sure that you have power to the charging base. If yes, but no dial tone, even after swapping phones and cords and you are certain that you have power to the base, the problem is in your line. Take your phone off the base, and press the paging button. This will let you know if you have power on the base, and that a signal is being transmitted to your phone. Try this also with your other phone in the "broken" phone's location. If it works, the problem is with your phone...it really is broken. Sometimes a replacement battery from Wal Mart or Radio Shack will fix it, provided that you can narrow the problem down to the phone. You can always take the battery back to Wal Mart if you guessed wrong...not so easy at R/Shack.
Good Luck, and regards, WoobieDog

Phone base set 'in use' led flashes when plugged into the jack

As is usually the case, a very simple solution in the end. Always check every thing even if the info supplied is from a qualified person. The phone came with the wall jack to base cord but it wasn't the origonal one so the phone thought the line was busy because it wasn't receiving any voltage supply as the plug into the base set had transposed 1 with 2 & 3 with 4. Damn I hate it when its that easy. I was talking to another mate about it and he said he had a similar fault to mine & he thought the cord was the issue & he was correct.

Thanks for your time

Brent.

2 Telephone lines and one phone jack

Most of the Cordless 2 line phone BASE UNITS have the connections on the back for line1/line2 or seperate line 1 and line 2 connection. If you have the type of phone with the line1/line2 jack you have to be sure that both lines are on the same wall jack, otherwise make sure the phone you purchase has seperate line jacks and you will have two phone cords going to the base unit.

RCA Visys Phone System

We bought this phone for a home business and personal line. We were happy to get rid of the seperate answering machine and thought it was great to have so many features for a reasonable price. About a week later we started to notice a recurring clicking sound that accompanied our conversations, this sound is also heard by the person you are speaking to. I decided to call RCA and see if I had a defective phone... i was informed that this was "normal" for this phone and that there is nothing they can do for me. I plan to return this phone and the additional handsets I bought immediately. Do not buy this phone unless you want to spend your days trying to figure out the morse code clicking that persist through all your calls.
