Click Start -- All Programs -- search PC HELP AND TOOLS -- Recovery Manager..
once the tool is open.. I need Help Immediately ..
Search for option that says.. Hardware Drivers.. select and then select the Soundmax driver and then install it and restart ur system..
if still this doesnt help then go to www.support.hp.com enter the model no of ur computer and search for driver on the next page select SOFTWARE AND DRIVERS.. select the OS of ur computer and then on the next page search for the Audio drivers and download them and install them.. still need help.. let me know.. and let me know if it resolved ur problem.. regards, Guru :-P
