After turning on tv (kp-57wv600) the picture comes on for about 10 seconds then turns blue and shuts off. I tried to adjust the voltage adjustment for the blue but picture still goes out. Sound is ok. There is a small light that comes on which is located on the bottom of the blue tube. Not sure what that means. Is the blue tube in need of replacement?

For the guy witht he problem w/ the blue tube. It probably isn't your tube. When you take off the front panel, and the board behind it. you can see the bottom of the tubes. The light on the bottom of the tubes says that your heaters are good; thats a good thing. Below the tubes is the focus block, where you can make adjustments to the tube intensity and focus. If the tube won't adjust in then replace that focus block and you'll probably be fine. For the other guys, the transistors may or may not fix it, but your definitly going in the right direction.

Television will not come on. The red light power button blinks three times and then nothing.

Not knowing your exact model, the following information may be a little off but will work all the same

I think you may have a few problems here. If you are comfortable with soldering, check the following parts first:
R7060 and R7066. These are .27 ohm resistors that feed the convergence ICs. They may be open. If they are open, the convergence ICs are probably bad and need to be replaced. These are STK390-110. These should be readily available on-line for about $20-$25 each.

Let me know if you need any further help and remember that working on a tv can be dangerous and can result in a large electrical shock.
