Re: Systen Error L1-00
L1 means the lamp carriage movement is not being detected.
If the optics were cleaned, it is quite likely that one of the screws over the seal glass was put in the wrong hole. Or just slightly over tightened and is contacting the lamp causing it not to move.
Very easy to do.
The carriage could also be hitting the sensor, but, since you say it had just been serviced, I would say that carriage is hitting one of the screws. I have done that a few times. Normally it will do it when you are there. sometimes however, your unfortunate enoug to walk out the door before it catches.

This is a scanner lock issue. You may try the following:
Power off the All-In-One (AIO) off and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Wait 30 seconds. Then reinsert the power supply and power the AIO on.
Try a test scan now. If the error reoccurs, then try the below:
Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Open the scanner cover and check the scanner glass for cracks and the scanner casing for cracks. Close the scanner lid.
Open the top cover of the AIO and using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit. Remove both cartridges, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power the AIO on.
If the error still occurs, you may insert the cartridges one at a time and re-check..
hope the above info is of use to you.. try out..!!
We had this problem when the power was fluctuating in our building. I called Sharp and they told me to clear this condition with the following code: #*C* and when the screen shows 00-00 enter 14 and press the green copy buton. This worked on the AL-1655CS. On the AL-1631 we had to do a similar thing: C<auto>C<auto> 14 <copy>
The [H4-00] system error popped up when the power went out of the house. I called Sharp tech support (1-630-378-3590) and was talking to their tech support in less than a minute. The FIX? Just press the following keystrokes: # * C *This will clear the display error, now press…14, then press the green button twice. This should let your printer start to warm up and you have fixed your problem.
H4-00 is a fuser related service code. you need to get into the simulation programs and run sim 14 to reset the code. Make sure there is no paper jammed in the fuser. (The hot part on the right side inside the door)
