Did you ensure the chain brake is disengaged? Grasp the forward most upper handle (hand guard) and move it toward the nose of the bar (forward). Did it click? If no the brake is engaged. Move it slowly aft (it may require some force at the rear extreme to latch) until it clicks. Wear gloves and try to rotate the chain. If it latched and you still cannot rotate the chain please post back (below), and we will explore further.
