Some Games require higher version of firmware. You need to make sure that the games you put on your stick is capable of running in 3.71 m33-2 else I would suggest upgrade it to the 5.x m33 version.

How to install the game in psp

Hi.
First, you need to have a Custom Firmware (CFW) in order to play games using your Memory Stick. If you got your PSP with the Sony's Official Firmware, you cannot play games from your card.
If you got CFW already, all you need to do is place the .CSO or .ISO files to your ISO directory. You can do this by copying the .CSO or .ISO from from your computer to E:\ISO (where E is the drive representing your PSP).
After that, remove your PSP from PC and go to Game/Memory Stick and start playing.

Hello There, :) i've updated my PSP to version

you wont be able to play .iso files(games in the iso folder) because you updated to Sony's official firmware. but in order to play .iso files again you will have to hack you psp and make sure its running cfw(custom firmware).

DEAR FRIEND, YOU WILL HAVE TO CHECK YOUR UPGRADE SETTINGS.
  1. PRESS THE SELECT BUTTON ON YOUR GAME
  2. THE 1ST & 2ND OPTIONS ARE TO BE DEFAULT
  3. THE THIRD OPTION WILL BE MEMORY STICK
  4. THE FOURTH OPTION WILL BE M33 DRIVER
  5. THEN PLAY THE GAMES FOR CONFIRMATION.

I cant play the game in memory stick..

you'd first have to downgrade your psp. try to lower it to 3.50 or 4. something. then insert the .pbp file... this file is a hack.. or an upgrader for a psp.. once you do this.. your psp will be back to version 5.03 but now you can play downloadable games.

Why i cant play cso or iso games on my vre

Your CSO/ISO files should be in your ISO folder in the root of your memory stick. You might have to make this folder if you don't already have it. Also, your UMD mode have to be set to NO UMD REQUIRED, or M33 Driver. You must have Custom Firmware to play ISO/CSO games.

BIG HELP

is your PSP modified/CFW? if not it wont play cso or iso games. When u formatted your memory stick it will create ISO folder in the root of the memory stick. you said you created the folder, sounds to me that your not using CFW. this wont work.

If your using CFW/modified then format your memory stick using format option of your psp. Copy the cso/iso files to the ISO folder and that should work.

My psp could not read the game folder on the memory stick

Your psp must be custom firmwared for you to be able to play games from the ISO folder, to custom firmware it, it must have a pandora battery and the files required. You can buy pandoras batterys and a magic memory stick off ebay for a reasonable price.  Hope this helps

Downloading games

To play game on your memory stick you'll need Custom Firmware installed such as M33/OE on your PSP, else if you play a UMD. The last CFw Update is 3.71M33-3.

What is version on your PSP? (on PSP Menu, move across to the "Settings Menu". Scroll down, select to "System Settings" > "System Information" and you should see version of your PSP.)

Here's at MyBlog, how to install CFw Guides. If this is the first time you've used the Memory Stick Duo, you must format it with PSP to create the proper PSP folder structure. then copy your game *.ISO/CSO into ISO folder, and DevHook folder to the root on your memory.

Hope this helpful/idea. Pls post back should you need additional information. ^_^
