First, you need to copy the picture(s) to your computer.
There are 2 options to do so:

  1. Using a USB cable to connect the camera to your laptop. Make sure the camera is set to play mode and then connect the cable to the camera and to a free USB port on your laptop. On "My Computer" (on just "Computer"), a new drive will be shown - usually named Removable Drive. Sometimes there's no additional drive, but instead a camera icon, named after your camera's model. If you'll open (double-click) it (the camera icon or the Removable drive), you should see all the pictures you've taken.Select the picture(s) you wish to copy/send, then right click ON it (on 1 of the pictures you chose), and select Copy. Open another location in your computer (the Desktop - where all the icons are located - will be an easy choice), right click on an empty space and choose Paste.
  2. Using a card reader to copy the pictures straight from the memory card. When taking photos with your camera they're actually stored on a memory card. As many laptops today contain a built-in card reader - this could be an easier method. If you don't have a built-in card reader in your laptop, you can use a USB card reader instead. You should take out the memory card from your camera (refer to the user's guide for instructions) and put it it the card reader (if it's an external card reader: FIRST, put the card in it, then plug it to a free USB port on your laptop). Open "My Computer" (or "Computer"), and you should see a new drive called "Removable Drive"... Follow the instructions on option #1 to copy the desired picture(s).
Next step will be sending the picture(s) through e-mail.
It's a little difficult for me to explain how to do so, as I don't know which email program/service you're using... I'll say, in general, that you should look for an option called "Attach" or "Attachment" or "Attach File", etc. and usually has a sign of paper clip! Once you clicked on it, you should browse to the place you saved the pictures in (the Desktop, for example) and select the files (pictures) you want to attach/send. Pay attention that this operation should be done for each file separately.

Once the pictures/files are fully loaded, you can send your message!

Please contact me if you need any further assistance...

Good luck,

How to transfer photos to gmail from the nikon p250 camera

Load the picture files onto your computer first. Open gmail and add pictures to your email by clicking on attachment/ photo and direct software to the directory where you stored your photos. Be aware that photo files are large and most email programs have a file size limitation. You can adjust the resolution done to lower file size so it depends on how you want to send the file. Typically I send 3-5 photos at a time. If you want to send large amounts of photos, use Dropbox software.

How do I download pictures from my camera to my laptop?

You need a lead that has a connector for your phone at one end and a USB socket at the other end. When you connect with the phone powered on, your laptop will identify the phone as a 'bulk storage device', and you can see and transfer the images using Windows Explorer.

That is basic instructions as I am an iphone user.

Your user manual is here and the section on 'My Pictures' starts on page 72.

Can i transfer pictures from my camera without use of memory stick or third party wires .is this camera capabl of sending pictures from camera to p.c by email

No and no. You need either a memory card or a wire. There are memory cards that will connect via a wireless connection, but that still requires you to have a memory card.

How do I E-Mail Photos from my Olympus fe-290 on a dell laptop with winows vista. I do have the USB cord, thanks you

method 1 without photo management software:

To e-mail pictures from your camera with your laptop just hook up the camera to your laptop
and widows should come up with a menu asking you what you want to do with this device.
choose open folder to view files this should make the cameras media show up on the desktop.
You should also be able to see the media on the camera under my computer removable storage.
Or if it shows up here as a camera just right click and choose explore device. With most cameras
thier should be a folder called DCIM your pictures should be in this directory. Some cameras may
have subdirectories like video and thumnails in this directory also.

Once you've found the pictures, open you e-mail client or web mail and create a new e-mail. Open the attachment button. this should bring up a file manager that will allow you to find your pictures and select the ones you want to send. Some e-mail programs will have a white clipboard area beside the attachment button. If the e-mail client your using does, then you can just drag and drop
the pictures here to attach them to your e-mail

If your sending large picture files say 6.0mp and up then don't send more than one to 3 per e-mail
otherwise it can chog up your e-mail client for several minutes to hours.

If you want to send many pictures or video files to friends and family members you might consider
Dropbox. This is an online backup and storage program that will allow to share files online.

Method 2 with photo management:

Photo management software can take alot of the manual process of getting photos from your camera and storing them on your hard drive, fixing lighting, fixing red eye, fixing orientation,
tagging, organizing and other things you may want to do with your photos and automating the
process. Some of these have either the ability to create web albums or email pictures directly
from the photo management software. I personally like Picasa from Google

If it has a webcam (right above the screen) - then you can take a photo. Write your computer's model within a google search box and find a manual for using your webcam.

How to load pictures from camera to computer

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as might have come with your camera.

Is there a way to send pictures directly from the camera?

You cannot send pictures directly from the camera. The pictures have to be uploaded to your computer first. Your camera doesnt have a "built in" internet connection. The easy share button is for send pictures to your friends AFTER they are loaded onto your computer.
