Hi,

You can check the cable that is connected to the speaker if it is still working properly,

How to test.

First disconnect the cable connected to the speaker and use a small wire to connect to the speaker ane use a battery to test it, if you hear a sound coming out from the speaker, that means the speaker is working fine, But the connection to the speaker is not properly fix.

See if you can fine the cable for speaker and connect again, and see if you will hear any sound.

When connecting, make sure you check step by step before you connect, you that you do not make any mistake.

Take care.

Hi, if you have tried all possible ways and still not getting any solution, Remember you just purchased the stereo, it might be that the stereo player sound I C is bad.

I would advice you take it back and get a replacement so that you will not stress your self anymore.

Hello,

I suggest you cross check the speaker wires from the radio/cd player to the speaker, because it is likely that there might be connection or one of the wires is not well fix to its position.

Also make sure the radio/cd player volume is high and not on mute because it is possible the volume to be on mute, this will not bring ant sound unless you remove it from mute.

Take a very good look at the speaker wires very well to ensure there is no cut on the wires because there migth be a cut between the radio/cd player and the speaker.

With all this, i believe you should get the fault and correct it to get it working.

Take care.

    Hello,

follow the procedure below to check all connection, it is possible you are missing something out.

Connect the positive wire from each speaker to the positive connector on
the back of the stereo first. Then connect the negative wire from each
speaker to the negative connector on the back of the stereo. If there is
only one wire coming from the speakers, the speakers are grounded at
the chassis. In this case you will need to install new speaker wiring.

Connect the ground (-/black) wire of the stereo to a screw or bolt near
where the radio is mounted in the dash. Make sure the wire is attached
to metal, not plastic or fiberglass.

Connect the 12 constant and ignition power wires (both +/red) to the new
stereo. Refer to your stereo's installation manual to make sure these
    go to the correct places.

Follow the above procedure to check all the connection you have made to see if you are missing something.

    Take care.

    Hello,

If anything will be program, it should be the radio because it is the radio that will work with the speaker to produce sound.

The truck is just to supply the ac current to power the radio and speaker.

    Take care.

    Hello,

what are the amp rating on the radio and on the speaker, because it possible that the radio rating might not be compatible with the speaker since it works fine with its own radio.

Check the amp rating to see if the speaker will be able to power it but if not then you will need to get the speaker produce by best buy or the rating of the speaker that works with best buy radio.

    Take care.

What am i doin wrong with my boss radio? when i set a station when i shut the engine off i loss my settings

Sounds like your Memory +12V wire is not connected properly. If this wire does not have a constant source of power then you will lose all of your settings on your radio.

Things that may cause you to lose power through the Memory 12V wire:
  • Not hooked up properly to the battery
  • Bad battery
  • Bad ground
  • Loose wires

How do you hook a pioneer cd player up to a 1991 ford taurus gl sedan

You can go to Walmart or Best Buy and buy an adapter so the new stereo will fit, and they also sell an adapter to hook your pioneer wires up to a plug that just plugs in to your original stereo wiring.

PLEASE RATE by checking one of the four thumbs ups!

Does not hold power so all of the presets and the time are reset. Only turns on if the dash lights are on. It also skips quite frequently. What could be the problem?

First you should take the deck out and the yellow wire is your memory it shoul have full time power and not hooked to your dash lights this will cure your memory problem and possibly the cd problem. If you know how to use a multi meter test all wires on DC setting on meter and your looking for 12 volts all the time key switch on or off for the yellow memory wire then for the red wire you need 12 volts only when the key switch is turned on. Then the black wire is the ground no voltage at all. Hope this helps. leve feedback if so.

No sound or lights

make sure the yellow wire has power all the time and the red wire has power when the key is on. Most likely you do not have power to the red.
