Question about Toshiba 52HM95 52" HDTV Projection Television
I own a Toshiba 52HM95 and recently white thin vertical lines in sets of 8 with a separation of 2 inches from each other have appeared. The bulb is new and the DM board has been changed as well. What could be the defective part causing this?
I am inclined to believe that this is a DMD board related problem. It is possible that you have got a faulty replacement DMD. It is what causes the light to be reflected on to the color wheel and if some of the nano mirrors are not functional then you will see white stripes in the place of the actual pixel. Contact the store where you got it from and return it for a new board.
Let me know if you have any further queries,
