There is a hose to the tray so it can rinse the detergent inside the machine. The hose can leak, sometimes there is a seal on the tray that can leak also

Try unplugging the machine for a while, or press and hold the cancel button for 10 full seconds, then plug back in and try.

SOURCE: When we start our washer water runs out the detergent tray

I had the same problem about a week ago and found a sock had made it into the drainage area (between the drum and the rubber liner inside the door).  Just peel back the liner near the inside edge and inspect the area with a flashlight to see if anything is there.

SOURCE: Leaking from Detergent tray

TAKE THE DETERGENT TRAY OUT AND CLEAN IT.
IF THE PROBLEM PERSISTS TURN THE WATER DOWN TO A DRIBBLE AND SEE IF THIS FIXS THE FAULT. IF IT DOES--- THE WATER IS SPLASHING UP THE FRONT OF THE TRAY AND OVER THE TOP.
1) TAKE THE TRAY OUT 2) LOOKING AT THE TOP OF THE CAVITY ,COUNT BACK 4 ROWS OF HOLES, DRIILL THEM OUT TO 1/4 INCH . 3) BLOCK THE FIRST 3 ROWS OF HOLES WITH SILSATIC.

IF THE SLOW FILL DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM TAKE THE 2 SCREWS OUT OF THE BACK AND SLIDE THE TOP OFF, YOU WILL THEN BE ABLE TO SEE THE DISPENSER AND THE HOSES GOING TO IT. THEY MAY BE DAMAGED.

YOU MEAN THE TRAY WHERE YOU PUT DETERGENT, BLEACH, AND FABRIC SOFTENER IN? IF SO, REMOVE THE TRAY OUT COMPLETELY. REACH INSIDE MAKE SURE THERE IS NOTHING IN THERE THAT COULD BLOCK THE WATER GOING INTO THE MACHINE VIA A HOSE. AND ALSO CHECK AND CLEAN YOUR TRAY. THE TRAY CAN BE DIS-ASSEMBLED TO CLEAN. RUN IN WARM WATER AND MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN THE WHOLE THING OF SOAP AND SOFTENER RESIDUE. DON'T FORGET THOSE TINY LITTLE HOLES ON THE TRAY AND THE REMOVABLE CAPS

SOURCE: Lots of mold around rubber

Use a s.o.s pad to remove mold there will still be staining but it will gey the bulk of.Now to get rid of the smell ( this has been a mixture I have used for about ten yers works every time) put the washer on hot heavy wash start when done filling drain what you want to do is make sure the water is the hottest it can be. now start washer again on hot wash when you see water in bottom of tub stop machine to open door ADD two cups of dish washing power( brand does not matter I tell most people to buy cheap stuff at walmart) start machine let it run till you see powder disolve then stop washer and add 1 cup bleach. let unit go through complete cycle..If your washer has a clean cycle use that instead of the heavy or normal cycle. The most I ever had to do this treatment was 2 cycles and it worked every time.Note all front load washers the door must be left open to pervent odor/bellows should be wiped clean after each use/and a good cleaning at least once a month. anyhow if this helped please vote if you need more help please ask

NOTE the dish soap is the stuff for a dish washer

SOURCE: Water is leaking from the

Hi

If the washer fills fine then you'll need to check for the water inlet hose, the water inlet valve and the pressure/water level switch assembly. Inspect the inlet hose coming to the washer for any blockages. If the hose is not clogged then check the water inlet valve for any clogs, if the water will not even fill for few seconds then certainly the water inlet valve is bad and should be replaced. You can also use a multimeter to check continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. However, if the valve is fine then the pressure/water level switch assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Lg tromm washer leaks from detergent drawer

my washer also was leaking from the dispenser and I had a cap from one of the detergent bottles stuck in the inlet hose. Don't know how it got in there but glad I found it so if your washer leaks from the soap tray it could be a cap from your detergent bottle stuck in there.

Water leaking through detergent tray of my Hotpoint WF860

It sounds like the washer is not draining properly.

Remove lower rear cover of washer, locate and remove the large black hose fastened to bottom of tub.
remove plastic filter inside hose, and clean same.
Refit filter and hose, making sure it is on properly.
Be careful when you remove the hose, as there will be water in there.
As an extra precaution, remove soap draw, and thoroughly clean all parts, particularly, the conditioner parts
Please rate my fixya solution.
Thanks.

LEAKING DISPENSER DRAWER

Refer to your manual regarding the dispenser tray. You could try using a tooth brush to clean out dry detergent, which could be blocking the flow of water. You can take out tray to clean, ref manual.
