Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
I have a 2 year DS Lite. Recently we had been having trouble getting it to charge. We would plug it in and would have to wiggle connector to get it to stay charging. But recently, while the DS was on, we shut the lid and plugged it in to charge over night. This morning I went to give it to my son and it was still on, but he wanted a different game so I shut it off, put in the new game and turned it one. Thats when the Major problem started. I open the lid and the orange light comes on while its plugged in. I flick the power switch up and it appears another orange light, lights up next to the charging light. The touch screen flickers white then goes off and it powers back off. I flip the switch again and the green light comes on, the touch screen flashes white then it shuts back off. I have no idea what to do and my autistic son is addicted to the DS and I really do not have the money to buy a new one. What possibly could be wrong, what can I check out when I open it up. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your time,

SOURCE: Nintendo DS Lite won't turn on
My kids did the same thing. What I did to get it to work was to push back on the top and hold it turn it on. If it comes on then turns off after you let it go get 2 rubber bands and put the 1st. one on the top left down to the bottom right. The 2nd. one goes from the top right right to the bottom left. Then keep turning it on while moving the top to find the sweet spot.

SOURCE: Does not power up or turn on.
I think that this problem is caused by either f1 or f2 fuses being blown. The other problem mentioned where the green light comes on for a second then goes out again is usually caused by the cable connecting the top screen to the motherboard, it is either broken, damaged or incorrectly seated.
