Question about Denon AVR-1905 Receiver
The reciever made a loud popping noise, then switched itself off. The on button flashes (pulses) red after this happened. This has happened twice, and now when I turn it on it just shuts itself off. The on button will still pulses red but nothing else happens. Has anyone else experienced this, and is it repairable?
The output section has smoked and requires repair. The unit is not in "protect" mode. This means that the outputs are turned off to prevent additional damage to either the amp or the speakers. Expect a repair to run from $15-$40 in parts plus the local labor rate.
