Check the right voltage in the power supply first.then check the driver circuit and last the flyback transformer.sometimes there is a faulty shorted capacitor in the 200v or the horizontal yoke coils

I loss the horisontal regulator of my philips tv with 25pt463a/7ir model

Hello
You are talking about the horizontal output transistor damage I assumes and post this solution. If LOT has internal winding short, the horizontal output transistor will get shorted. It will be best to replace the horizontal output transistor, alongwith the LOT

MY TELEVISION DOES'NT POWER UP.

Hello
Check its horizontal output transistor for short circuit. It is a common fault to all type of CRT based TVs, and show this type of fault. If it is found shorted [collector to emitter], the LOT should also be checkd for winding short [internal]. Normally; LOT cannot be checked with normal measuring instruments. If LOT has internal winding short, the horizontal output transistor will get overheated and finally shorted.
Replace the horizontal output transistor first, and check whether it heats up ubnormally within seconds after switch ON the Tv. If it heats up so, make sure that the LOT is defective, and it should also be replaced. OK.

Will not come on. light blinks 6 times

Hello
Six blinks denotes the absense of horizontal sweep. Check the horizontal output transistor, whcih can be located very near to the LOT [Line Output Transformer]; for short. If it is shorted, LOT must be suspected. Replace the line output transistor with a new one, and switch ON the tv for a short period of time, say 6 seconds or so, and check the heat of the replaced transistor. If it overheats within this time, be sure that LOT is damaged; shorted inside; and should be replaced with same type and number. If a digital multimeter which can measure frequency is available, take the frequency at the collector of the horizontal driver transistor. It should come around 15525Hz. If not replace the jungle IC. OK.

When i turn on horizontal output tripping. B+ and low voltage ok

Hello
Check the LOT and Horizontal Output Transistor. If horizontal output transistor get shorted [collector to emitter or collector to base], this kind of fault will occur. Here there is nocollector to emitter short as B+ is ok. Check for collector to base leak. It is best to repalce the horizontal transistor with a new one, and switch on the Tv for a short while, say 10 seconds or so, and feel the heat of the replaced transistor. If it gets overheated, of LOT makes a whisiling of hissing sound, LOT is faulty, and shoul be replaced sith same type and number. OK.

Aiwa tv-14ST3 horizontal output always shorted

Hello
If horizontal output gets shorted always, something may be wrong with Line Output Transformer [LOT], or deflection yoke. If LOT windings inside is short, hrozontal output transistor will get overheated, and will be get shorted soon. If there is winding short in the Deflection yoke, even a sinlgle winding gets shorted, it puts a great load on LOT, which in turn effect horizontal output transistor. The third main reason for horizontal output transistor failure is due to an open or dry solder at the capacitor connected to its collector to negative It will be usually 2500pf to 3500pf, according to the TVs screen size. You just check these three and be sure about the fault.
Ok.

Zenith

First, locate the horizontal output transistor. This is found very close to, or next to, the horizontal output transformer (also known as the flyback). The flyback should be on an aluminum heat sink, or on the side of the metal chassis. Disconnect or unsolder two of the three legs of the transistor. Measure it with your meter, or plug in the set with the light bulb attached across the fuse.
If the transistor is shorted, or the light bulb doesn’t glow bright anymore, replace the transistor and plug back in. If the light bulb glows bright again, you must replace both the flyback and horizontal output transistor simultaneously. In some cases this will fix the set, but sometimes there are multiple problems with a set.
Go to where the flyback is, and start measuring the diodes and capacitors on the flyback itself. If you don't find any shorts there, it could be a shorted vertical output IC, a shorted sound IC, a shorted disc capacitor in the Hi Voltage/sweep circuit, or in rare cases, a shorted capacitor or tuner.Feel free to ask and post whatever the result of your troubleshooting..

Tv problem

The F27442 uses the CTC203 series chassis and that symptom is very common. If the horizontal output is shorted you MUST resolder the coil in series with the base of that transistor and the pins of the small horizontal drive transformer. When they have been properly resoldered you can put in a new original horizontal output transistor. If the output transistor shorts out again then your flyback (high voltage) transformer is shorted and needs to be replaced.

RCA F27669 27"

The F27669 uses the CTC203 series chassis. The most common cause of that symptom is a shorted horizontal output transistor, caused by a cracked solder joint on a small coil connected to that transistor's base. When this happens, the main B+ supply is shorted to ground so the power supply squeels. Every once in a while I also see the horizontal output transistor shorted due to a shorted flyback (high voltage) transformer. A good tech will replace the horizontal output transistor, resolder the coil and drive transformer, test the flyback (replacing it if necessary) and your set will be back to perfect.

Horizontal output transistor keeps failing

The horizontal output transitor is always connected to the primary winding of the flyback transformer (via collector) and also to the horizontal deflection coil via an electrolytic capacitor. The most likely suspect for damaging the transistor is the fylback transformer. In some countries there are electronic stores that test flyback transformer by winding a few turns on the ferrite core and applying a test voltage. This test will only test the secondary. The primary winding is difficult to test for turn to turn short because the resistance is quite low and you do not know the 'good' resistance.
